Any way to get rid of the color icons on AOD and go back to all white?

I hate the new colored icons on the AOD. When they were all white I could see what they all were. Now there is dark red and dark blue and I can barely even see that there is an icon there, let alone what it is. Anyone know a way to go back to all white?

Not sure if you can do that, but have you tried GoodLock? It lets you customize a bunch of stuff, and I think whatever you choose for the clock goes for the other items (or they all might be already white, I believe).

Check out some icon packs in the playstore.

Don't have the Pie update yet, but don't think that would change on AoD, does it?
I don't have it yet either. T-mobile here. I think I'll delay it at least a few days and see what system changes it makes, and wait for the the first patch should it come fast enough. Unless I'm missing something, what's the point of pie other than needing it to get security updates? Show me some real improvements before you (Google) make me update my os. Who really owns your phone if you're unable to use it as you the supposed owner wants to?

It does. I tried to take a screenshot, but apparently you can't screenshot the lock screen

Just realized it is actually the AOD and not the lock screen. If it was only as vibrant and bright as in this picture

Yeah, but those are the standard icons... does applying a theme/icon pack also change them on AOD now?

I don't see anyway to change them. The new colored ones are horrible. Some of them are dark grey and I have no idea what they signify unless I get up close to the phone
