Ebay sells them NIB for $235. That's the best I've seen with no contract. Alternatively, you may be able to find a friend who will "sell" his upgrade to you (i.e. have him buy the phone for free on bestbuy.com, and then sell it to you (for whatever you both agree is fair) before he activates it. I used to do that for friends when I was short on cash.
That said, this phone is definitely not a full price worthy. If you can't get a good price, I would just sit on your Optimus S for awhile longer.
I'm on SERO-P and bought my wife's marquee through the best buy website with free shipping. No hassles whatsoever.
My one recommendation is to make sure you are upgraded from SERO to SERO-P prior to ordering the phone. Just call Sprint CS and ask to upgrade to SERO-P and then go to the best buy website. Yes, you end up paying a little extra for days of service you didn't use, but it prevents your order from being blocked for not being on a valid plan.
BTW, last I checked best buy was also throwing in a free bluetooth stereo headset with the Marquee. Not a bad deal. Let's just hope the ICS update fixes all the problems with the phone.

Anyone on Sero should order directly from Sprint to avoid most problems or potential issues.
Definitely check craigslist (where I got mine). I would honestly find one with a bad esn for cheap and put your optimus s meid on it and go from there
