Yeah if you have Panda and want to keep the look the skins and clear cases will help, but with the plethora of case options out there I am just surprised that someone like Spigen or Caseology has not created a Panda case yet.

I wonder if this is something we could crowd source on our own or have custom-made? Or are there manufs out there that will do a run if enough people were interested?

Black is still super classic, but I get what you mean about the Panda. There's something so uniquely beautiful about it. My friend has the Panda and I wish the same colour scheme existed for the Google Pixel 2's 5" variant.

Though I prefer the Panda the black has a nicer grip to it. Doesn't matter much because I case mine but it has a better feel

I like the black version too because of its symmetry and uniformity. It's black on the front, and black on the back, which works.

The black has a tuxedo look so I'm going to say it's "classy" while the Panda is "striking"

No, you haven't transgressed and I don't focus on whether a phone looks boring in making my purchase decision either....however when I do decide on a specific model and there are color options I will choose the one that suits me better in terms of appearance.
