While I was at work I checked the local stores with the best buy app and all the close stores to my location had them ready for pickup. 2 hours later I get home, now the local ones are out... Grrr.

The BB website indicates that a few stores in So Cal have them in stock, but it gives an error message when trying to add to your cart. It's impossible to get a call answered by the actual stores so they send you to a central call center. I told the rep that stock was shown at a few local stores and she was helpful in tracking down one store (of four shown listed with stock) that showed two in stock.

A 30 minute drive later and some convincing of the sales reps that they actually had them, and I'm now home charging it.

If you're totally impatient like me, keep trying. I tried cancelling an expedited order that I placed in a store yesterday, but it is too late apparently (despite no notice of the shipment being made). BTW, they shouldn't be charging a $25 pre-order fee.

My best buys in my area wont let me pre order it nor do they have any in stock. Oh well. I knew that wouldn't work.

I took a chance and went to a local BB and the 2 they had were reserved for a store to store sale or something. As I was leaving, one of the salesmen stopped me and said they had one in silver. Lucky me!

Nope, not lucky at all. It seems to be defective and wont charge. the watch itself also gets ridiculously hot when you put it on the charger.

After several resets, it seeks to be doing something. Was stuck on "Just a minute..." for a veeeery long several minutes. Now it doesn't have enough charge so I'll have to wait.

I do see a dead pixel though.

I ordered one when it briefly became available again around 2pm. However, I have no idea if it is actually a real watch, so I have been perusing the local Best Buys for one. Called a BB ~20 mi away who said they had one. I drove like hell to get there and it had been sold already. Next closest is over an hour away.

Saw one in the Huntsville Alabama BB today and couldn't believe how huge it was. Not kidding here and I wear a G shock but the 360 looks silly large. I wouldn't wear one if it was free with my next moto x.

Your best bet is to go to the store and ask an employee that works where the watches are sold. Girl that sold me mine said they came in yesterday but they werent showing in inventory for some reason..

Update: Finally charged it up but mine has literally like 6 stuck white pixels which is a deal breaker by itself. Also it never booted as it got stuck in a boot/update loop. Taking it back. Not a good impression.

I got this today and its going back tomorrow. IMO, it is annoying, useless, etc... I seems like too much effort for something that I think is supposed to make life a little easier.

When you say annoying, you mean you don't like getting all the notifications? Just turn the ones you don't want off. I mean, it's not like anything us a surprise here, except maybe how big it is in real life.

I think some of those that are unhappy with the watch are just disappointed with Android Wear in general. This watch functions just like all the others and if you like AW, you won't have an issue with the functionality of the 360.

I agree with you. Some people just buy because it's hyped up and don't do their research and then are disappointed. My buddy hated Titanfall after he bought it....lets just say he hated it already as he was going through training...

Check online. I called a best buy and the rep told me no best buys in the region had any. Best buy website told me a different story multiple stores had it. I called one of those stores and they had it just like the wesite said.

I was able to get one thru best buy's web site on launch day at about 12:02pm EST (two minutes after the sale time). I had mine shipped to the store, which I probably should have just had it shipped to me, but I was trying to get the transaction completed as soon as possible as I knew they were going to run out. According to best buy, I can pick it up in store on the 11th.

I stuck to online ordering as I have had bad experiences with best buy and absolutely clueless employees in store on multiple product launches. Motorola's site crashed and as soon as it came back up the site said backordered. Google play was late to the party... I never saw the 360 posted there until 12:15pm, I had already purchased mine by then. Best buy's search was wonky and couldn't find "moto360" at that time, so I used the SKU that was posted in another thread and found it that way to order it.

Congrats to those that already have theirs!
