How much extra battery time are you getting since turning off the LTE signal?

seems they shipped mine but regular ground with a delivery of next Wednesday. guess I can decide to keep or return the S3. Battery life has gotten better since turning LTE to off when connected to the phone. Seems that should be the default setting...

At various times I owned the S3 with and without LTE. The LTE definitely takes a toll on battery life when used consistently. However, I almost always had it next to my phone so the Bluetooth connection takes priority. With just an occasional bounce to LTE and using mostly Bluetooth the battery life was comparable to the non-LTE version of the watch.

FWIW, the newer version of the watch has far better battery life. I keep the screen on all the time and am getting about 2.5 days (my guess is it would get 4 without the screen on all the time). Pretty impressive.

After 7-8 hours today, I still had 88%. I even turned on the AOD and have lost 10% the last 4 hours.
For reference, first full day I had the watch I got low battery warning at 10 hours on my wrist mostly sitting around the house with AOD and LTE always on.
LTE is definitely a battery killer.

Im so jelly! I ordered on the 10th with Express shipping and still no watch =( Still shows back ordered but I got the watch band. It doesnt make any sense.

Debating if I should just wait until my preorder ships with the free band, or pick it up now at my local T-Mobile store and have it now but no free band. Ahhh first world problems.....

I believe you still get the free band, Once your get the watch and activate it go to the Samsung app and it should prompt you with the details of the band. I have not confirmed this just saw someone on reddit post about it.

So the shipper is Ingram Micro which is the maker of the galaxy watches. So I think its confirmed its the Galaxy watch? lol

Umm no they don't make the watches. Lol. They are a supplier.

Wonderful. Samsung won't let me cancel my order with them. So, they won't ship me a watch but they won't let me cancel the one I have with them either. Outstanding.

Same here. I just denied the FedEx. Shipment of the band which is on it's way back. I'll do the same for the watch and Samsung better refund me .

Only concern right now is battery life. Tried the always on display today and only got about 8-9 hours before the battery warning came on. Guess I'll have to turn it off.

I been getting 3 days for mine with the display on the whole time.

Got my watch today. No extra band. Delivered to my door. No signature required. Paid the $14 for express but they gave me the $14 back and still shipped express. Charging it now.

I got my extra watch band today. So it looks like i got the shipping information for the watch and then the watch still says backordered on the samsung watch for me. Interesting that the watch came first.

My free watch band got approved from the Samsung promotions site today (I registered it Friday). It says it will ship in approximately 12 weeks!! Like some others on the site I had issues with it not recognizing my serial number and had to take a piture but obviously that worked.

Mine was approved this morning and I just received the email also! Lets hope it doesnt take 12 weeks. Looking at my promotions from previous years it has taken anywhere between 5 days and 3 weeks for them to ship from the day they were approved.

I just ordered the silver 46mm lte / TMobile from Samsung w/ free watch band. Estimated shipping date is 9/23. Anyways, someone mentioned Ingram micro, making Samsung parts in a previous post. That's incorrect. Ingram is a 3PL. They are a logistical company that handle many companies, such as Samsung's pre-order shipping. SAMSUNG ships all the inventory then Ingram manages all the outbound order shipping and inbound returns as well. That's all they do, my note 8 got shipped by them as well. Also had paid express one day shipping n got it same day as people who ordered standard delivery. Samsung chat, boom , took the charge right off. So anyone who was promised a date and paid expedited, screen shot your order page just in case and slam them to get your shipping money back. Also if you look up your tracking by weight, FedEx bills by the pound and so does ups. So if it says one pound it could be the watch band as they round up to the nearest pound for shipping charges. Good luck everyone and wish I was in the UK just to get free duo charger instead of some crap free watch band lol.

My watch was delivered. What's interesting though is that Samsung's site never changed from backordered and I have no charge on my card for it. I decided to sell it too my friend instead of sending it back.
