Anyone else bail on the pixel launcher?

This is how it looks, so tell me, doesn't it looks just t like the Pixel launcher? Best thing is that it looks and behaves just like it plus tons of other things.

This is why I'm leaving the iPhone after this year long test drive.

With doing this in Nova , will I be able to increase the number of icons I can fit on the screen as well as the dock but keep the look? Also does Google assistant work exactly the same?

Every little trick you can do in Nova is available with the Beta so you can do what you mention above, but by doing that it won't look the same, what I wanted to do was to keep Pixel look but increase functions and features. But you can customize it even more as you please.

Everything works exactly the same, you won't notice any difference, the only thing missing would be the swipe right for Google now, and I really don't miss it as I didn't like it that much, I prefer the infinite place scroll. But replacinv it with a swipe up have me the same functionality.

My favorite launcher for a long time was Go Launcher - than they started putting ads on everything - to the point it was taking over the phone....

Right now - I am sticking with Pixel - but it does not say "me".... So I am disappointed in that.... I may say who cares about the pixel launcher features - I want pretty....

Can you tell me what's the difference between Nova Launcher and Nova Launcher Prime? And what does Nova Beta have that those 2 don't?

I'm pretty much an Android newbie (coming from iPhone) having fun being able to customize things like this. Thanks.

Edit: I actually read the descriptions in the Play Store and figured out what Prime does. Still curious about Beta.

Now that you figured that out beta is simpler, just a beta version so they can try new stuff to test and troubleshoot before final release, BUT, current version is highly stable, I haven't got a single error or Force Close since I installed it on Saturday, hence the reason I'm recommending it for all this.

We'll not all third party paid launchers are working good at my Pixel XL. Action Launcher 3 is fine and Nova Prime is fine too. Others freeze, crashes. I'm using Nova with Null Wallpaper. I can't stand all the whites in the Pixel Launcher. I like full black.

I'm brand new to Android, the pixel being my first. I switched to Nova on day one because a friend recommended it. I like the customization. I also missed the notification badges from iOS, which Nova has but pixel launcher does not

The Google search on every page is the exact reason I'm sticking with the Pixel launcher. I do wish that Google would put in notification icons/badges on the apps.

Honestly, the Pixel Launcher is pretty amazing. I'm used to the simple nature of the Google Now Launcher but the Pixel has a lot more things going for it, like the built-in weather widget, the extra space for another app because of no app drawer icon (something I used to do with Nova Launcher, so one less reason to use it) and the pull up app drawer-- something else I also used on Nova, I just found it much better.

Where's the weather widget?? I can't find it.

So I went for Nova Prime and man am I glad! I am loving the Stealth icon pack and the Smoke and Glass icon pack!

Scratch that. My favorite icon pack I have found is Whitcon with one of their dark backgrounds.

I did find out that long-press does work in Nova (Beta I think) !!!

I am using Sketchy icons!!!

I thought I would not do it either but in my opinion it enhances the Pixel experience. It is great!

I think I have on Nova - everything that Pixel Launcher has.... plus new icons....

Google Now - double tap
Camera open swipe down
icons/apps - long press for added features
app drawer - swipe up
Google Assistant works

Thanks. How did you get the Google button & weather to be non persistent and just on the home page? Is this something within the regular Nova Prime settings or something you added? Whichever way you did it thanks, I was just curious as to how you did it.

Edit: I figured out it's just the new search bar widget, which is cool.
