Anyone else having issues with email notifications

I've come to the conclusion that this is a Samsung programming feature. I have my iPhone 12 pro Max, pixel 4 XL, note 20 Ultra, and s21 on the same Wi-Fi. Emails and other notifications come in about the same time on the pixel and iphone. The Samsungs are delayed until I wake and unlock each phone.

To me I think its individual user case, I had and have plenty of Samsung with 4 gmail accounts and dint experience this , I also don't experience this like you mentioned on my iPhone11 pro ,pixel 4xl or pix 5 with sane 4 accounts on each phones

It's happened on every Samsung I've owned since the S10+. Never happened on any Pixel or other manufacturer.

That is very strange , like I mentioned I had and have many Samsung devices and didn't have this issue and it's not normal to me on Samsung phones.

I've had this issue on the S20 Ultra, Note 20 Ultra and now on the S21 Ultra.

If I'm charging or my screen is on the notifications work instantly. Not charging and the screen is off, fuggedaboutit :-\

I know you been having this issue, thats why I'm here dedicated to help find the issue some of you having with this .

Your lucky.
Aqua Mail brings in the Gmail notifications instantly but the actual Gmail app will only show notifications after I turn on the screen.

If you have the Optimize Battery usage turned off for an app why can't you also add this app never sleeping apps section?

It's either one or the other.

Well tried this as well and still takes between 3-15 minutes to get a notification on the lock screen. Not sure why it's still being like this.

I think this is how Samsung or Android save battery by delaying push notification checks.

Many email apps like Aqua Mail, Edison Mail, Spark ETC will give you instant push notifications while the actual Gmail app is asleep in the background.

I just wish there was an answer for other apps like eBay, PayPal, banking ETC that would allow for instant notifications while the screen is off.
