I have Pandora on my EVO. All the time is says loading and yet is playing the song. Also it will also skip through songs on its own until it gets to where it cant skip anymore. And last but not least the voice search box will open randomly and wont shut down unless I turn the phone off. All of this happens when running the pandora app... THOUGHTS?

I would un-install then re-install the app, if it continues it could be something else you have running at the same time. So I would start with some trouble shooting like, uninstall then reboot and reinstall then reboot and just only load Pandora and see if it happens.

hmm, i dunno. i'm going through the widget and everything works perfect. Re-occurring issue?

I had to make sure "always on mobile data" was clicked ON or mine kept quitting when my phone would go to sleep.

Sounds like you have a couple different problems here. Regarding Pandora, ive found it to be a little buggy sometimes if you don't have a good 3G signal, it doesn't seem to recover very well once you get coverage back. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesnt.

Regarding the voice command popping up, do a search on this site or androidforums.com, I recall seeing a thread where someone figured out it was going to headset mode and subsequently voice command because of a faulty design in the headphone jack. Ive had this happen a couple times as well.

Be careful of your cable. Sometimes some cables (possibly like the one you use in your car) makes it think a headset is attached, and thus it triggers all sorts of things like voice search and next track skipping.

I had Pandora completely freeze up once, and even after app killing, it would not play until my Android restarted. (Not sure it was Pandora's fault because Pure Calendar went down in flames with it.) I've also had Pandora start playing, but it just kept showing the initial splash screen for quite a while.

I listened to mine in the car several times today, with varying signal strengths, and had no problems at all. Worked perfectly.

I do have "Always On Data"

I'm having this same problem

EVO 4g LTE

Pandora will buffer 1% then say loading.A few seconds later it changes track and does the same thing endlessly

I've tried everything nothing is workin
