Anyone else noticing when unlocking the screen, that Google play comes up with app recommendations?

Well, I did notice something strange yesterday and today. When I unlocked my phone, the browser app launched to show an ad. I'm on Verizon too. Gonna have to keep an eye on it.

Mine will periodically open the playstore or the browser with an add. Any idea what caused that?

Mine does this or will open an internet browser with adds, and coincidentally I have crossy road on my phone too. I will uninstall and see if that fixes it.
