Anyone get the updated Android Messages App with Web support?

If you have Project Fi web messaging has been available for a long time through Chrome and Hangouts, you can also use WiFi calling from your computer and Android tablet, very cool.

Got 3.3.043 a few days back and 3.3.044 just now. Nothing yet.

I used PushBullet before... too many other features when all I wanted was SMS from my computer.

I'm in the same boat - 3.3.0.44 with no web option yet.

Having a Pixel and being on Project Fi has nothing to do with what apps you have and your app updates. The app "Android Messages" is installed from Google Play and its updated from Google Play.

Got it. Looks alright, a bit delay in updating, but otherwise fine. If it works as I hope, it might replace Pulse on my phone.

I'm still waiting for it, but I'll be evaluating it vs. Pulse as well.

Now that I've used it for a while, it's actually going to be a lot more useful than I thought. I made a bookmark for it and I simply keep a tab open whenever I'm on my PC. I touch-type fast and it's working very well. It looks just like what I see on my phone. I'm impressed.

It's quick and easy to do, click the menu item and scan. That's about it.

Itsa - That was the best tip ever! No one who understood this process thought to take a screen shot of the updated Messages app and show us what it will look like. I now know that I do not have the update and can stop obsessing.

The app just updated to 3.3.044, but the option is not available like some here have reported. Is there another waiting period, or is there something I need to do?

You must be on a beta. I've got 3.3.043 but I don't see that 3 dot menu.

I'm running the beta on my pixel 2 and it just came in this morning. So far it works as expected I've been running it on a Chromebook as well as a MacBook Pro and haven't experienced any issues

Yeah on my Pixel 2 XL it still doesn't have the option for messages on web I'm feeling a bit left out I want a reason to leave Verizon Messages (Message+) and I'm running 3.3.044 and still not getting the option

I have the exact same issue. I have tried reinstalling it twice and still the same crap. Very frustrated and don't know what to do. Edit: Im on a Pixel on Project Fi

Same here. Release notes for 3.3.044 say it should be there but it's not... On a note 8.

Mine just randomly showed up in the 3dot menu yesterday. I don't think I had an app update that coincided, it just happened. Haven't been at my desk long enough the last 2 days to try it out yet. Lol.

Same here. I had three phones receive the same app update tonight. 2 out of 3 do not have the new option. Maybe there is something tied to the Google account?
