Anyone Getting the "Itch"

It's too early for the "itch" really, what new phones are being released with the S-Pen? Tried one without back when the Note 7 got recalled. Nope, missed the S-Pen too much.
I don't get why people even buy a Note if they don't care about spen.

It's the reason I have a Note year after year after year

I was going to ask this question of you, as well! The iPhone X does look interesting. Have you made a decision yet?
For now it's just an itch and a very small itch at that. What keeps me from pulling the trigger time and time again are the features that I would be giving up. I will say that there are two features in ios that I love; spotlight search and iMessage. Other than these two features there is nothing iOS presents that I like better than Samsung and Android. Back in the day, the big differentiator for me was that iPhone just worked. Now, the Note8 just works and it has the software and hardware features I have come to enjoy and rely on.

Why would I get the itch? My phone is running great. Leave it to the jumpers who always have the itch to leave a great phone after such a short time! 🙄

Nothing has to be wrong or broken to get the itch. Just a desire for something new or different.

I’m in a perpetual state of itchiness. I’ve jumped back and forth from iOS to Android for years. I’ve been mostly on iOS since December of 2015, but my iPhone 6s Plus is on its last legs. I can’t decide if I should stay with Apple with the iPhone X or go with another Android phone. I use Google services go everything and don’t necessarily gave anything else in the Apple ecosystem. I like iMessage but it isn’t necessary. What I really like is just the simplicity. Not sure I can get rid of it or what I’ve become used to using. And it’s tough to beat that Apple warranty.

Maybe the Pixel?

It happened right after I used it within minutes. So you tell me. And I did not use my physical card that day. Or all week for that matter. How did it happen then?

A month ago I had my debit card stolen twice in one week, the second time I hadn't even used it.

That was a password changing nightmare. Every password, twice, one week.

You need to get on Samsung about it.

I can understand your feelings about iMessage - it's awesome! - but yeah, I certainly agree with you that Android has a slew of features that Apple does not; or that are just as good.

I'm getting the itch. Funny thing is that I had the iPhone x and got the itch for the note. And for the first few weeks of the note, I loved it. Was routinely amazed with exception to one thing.. battery. It is abysmal.
I've done everything except wipe and reset because this was a brand new phone with a brand new setup. I can't see how much difference that would make and I also don't have the patience to do that again. So it's back to the iPhone i go

As a daily device, no itch. For me personally, this is the best phone out there. I mean... maybe another Note 8 in a different color? Lolo. I do wish it were wider. It would be fun to doodle around with another phone but none come close to the Note for me.
I am with you Amy. I'm still in love with this phone, I too wish it were a tad wider.

I got the itch and got the 8 plus and the X. Then went came back to the Note. Feels good. Like all is right.
I had the 8 + and wish I had kept it top, I had to use it to jump to the Note 8 but I'm not sorry about it. The 8+ is pretty much a twin to the Note 8 minus the pen but I'm still happy with the Note 8.

I liked the S8+ too. Gave it to my son. Loving the Note 8.

Averaged 3 phones per year, then, two. S8+ and Note 8 this year. I'm done. Staying with Note 8 for 2 years. Probably...

People can steal it months ago.

They take tons of cards. Yours just happened to be in rotation. Imagine a scanner being on a machine all day at a popular place? That's a lot of cards.

I really still don't think it was Samsung pay. It doesn't pulse your real card so they couldn't just get it out of no where.. it also uses tokens that are needed for the "fake" card that it pulses.

I'm getting a bit of an inch! Love the Note, just sometimes question the size and the fps location. Might look at oneplus 6 when it's out.
