Anyone Google wallet?

I did but must've missed a step and ruined my secure element. Anywho I went and just got back with a new phone. I was having constant wifi issues anyways so wa-lah they gave me a new one.

Did you have the previous hacked version and forget to Reset Google Wallet in the Wallet settings before flashing or doing a factory reset?

Yes thats exactly what happened. So after I get the newest version installed I need to make sure I reset Google Wallet EVERY TIME? What is the 100% accurate way to do this so I don't bork my secure element on the new phone?? Thanks PJnc284!

Believe they're still trying to figure out if it borks the secured element on the new build since it's in the cloud but the old procedure was to always open Google Wallet, hit the menu button and choose Reset prior to wiping anything. Probably overkill since the the reset removes the cards, but I also go into Payment Cards and hit the menu button to remove card on each one prior to dong the above.

yup, no issues aside from my Citi Mastercard being the only thing I can't add but that seems to be a widespread issue with others as well. Kind of odd that the one card supported from the beginning doesn't work now. Go figure.

My only problem now, is that there aren't enough places in D to use this thing, when i was in Chicago they were everywhere even on parking meters....

yeah, aside from BP, McDonald's, and CVS there's not much else to chose from.

This is weird. I did everything to a "T" and created a backup when I was stock. I went through and changed the build prop and flashed the wallet package and then opened and get the same error message as my last phone? I never even installed it or anything on this device yet...went to recovery now and restored my last backup...can I try it again or what?

If you have root explorer go into systems then go into your build prop file, long press and go into text editor change your build.prop to this

ro.product.model=htc_jewel
ro.product.name=htc_jewel
ro.product.device=htc_jewel

After your done with that I restarted my phone. Installed google wallet and set it up. Then restarted again then go back into root explorer system>build.prop and delete the build.prop and the build.prop.bak rename to build.prop. The .bak one should be your original file with your original device name and model and then restart your phone once more and you should be good to go. I did this a few times for my friends as well and everything works perfectly. PM if you can't get it working
