Anyone have any suggestions how I can get my hands on an Evo?

I'm not a current Sprint customer, so it's harder to get my confirmation number. I just know that I ordered after jay0911 and before BJ. My number should be coming up soon. As soon as BJ says he has a tracking number, I'll know mine is on its way.

Does anyone know if a signature is required at delivery. I hate it when my package is driving around town in a UPS truck but I can't get it because I have a job.

Just call up sprint order status @1 866-514-0109 and say that you are looking for your order number. Then you can go on Sprint | Check Your Order Status and check the status. It will more than likely be 5-7 Business Days till you get your evo, just like it was with most of us. You just gotta wait it out, and be happy you actually were able to get your oder in when so many people acorss the country are still searching and waiting for shipments in stores that MIGHT come in... maybe... someday... over the rainbow

all you have to do is put a note on your door just in case you wont be home and ask them to leave it on your step/porch/whatever you got. As for obtaining order number just call up srpint order status @1 866-514-0109

I should have ordered it earlier also when I first saw this thread. But just like everyone else I was a little skeptical about ordering from some guy whose number was on a internet forum.

Sprint's policys is 5-7 Business Days, but I think they do try and get them out in 5. NOT COUNTING the day I ordered mine was assigned a tracking number in 5. I think if they HAD more inventory it would definately be within 3.

I know what you mean but Art really is an authorized dealer, allbeit, he needs to work on his communication more, but I definately give it to him for being able to get orders put in when no-one else can.

I agree, I give him mad props for being able to get our orders in. I spoke to him he said his phone has been ringing like crazy just from this forum. He is a nice dude, yesterday I received the rebate form and his business card in the mail.

Trust me I've tried. They took their yellow delivery notice and stuck it right on my note. If the sender checks the signature required box, or it's insured for more the $100, they want a signature.

I have a box sitting down at the USPS annex right now. My three options are to schedule a redelivery to my empty house, return the package to the sender, or come down an pickup my package. Their hours at the annex are 10am to 2pm and I work 30 miles away. FU taxpayer.

Maybe it's a California thing.
