At home, with my Airport Extreme, weak, but works good. At work, with multiple access points, drops all the time. I've posted this in other threads.Really tempted to buy this one, but heard some bad stuff about the wifi connection being weak and dropping, but then nvidia presumably pushed an update to fix it. How is your tablet doing with wifi connection?
So, is this a design flaw or a software bug that could it be fixed with some updates? At home, with my Airport Extreme, weak, but works good. At work, with multiple access points, drops all the time. I've posted this in other threads.
Hands blocking the antenna is not an issue for me. Nvidia said it would be fixed in next update, but it wasn't. Now they say the next. I'll wait until Android L, then move on to something else, if not.So, is this a design flaw or a software bug that could it be fixed with some updates?
My old first gen iPad picks up the Wi-Fi better than my Nexus 5, of course the Nexus 5 gets much bigger speeds, but in spots where my Nexus 5 can't find anything, I can easily browse the web with an iPad. Having to know that a 2010 tablet can beat a high end tablet from 2014 makes me kind of disappointed, not a dealbraker though.
How about the hands blocking off the antenna? Was that just some build issue they adressed or does it persist in all tablets?
