Anyone know what this tool is for?

Interesting. In my Note 10+ box this item was in a plastic wrapper. On that wrapper it says "Replacement tips for S Pen and tip removal tool"

I am guessing yours was not in s plastic wrapper with this note on it?

Wow! Yours came with instructions?! You must have paid extra for your deluxe 10++ model! :-p

Kidding...no, mine came with zilch instructions.

I remember in past Notes the reason why they gave so many is because some were different softness or hardness to your liking on how it feels on the screen. I'm not sure on the ones with the Note 10/+ if they are any different since they gave only two. I haven't looked at them yet to see if there are any differences from the stock one.

Actually judging from the pic in the OP looks like the white one will give you a different feel on the spen. Look at the Note 9 box I have here in my office looks like they did the same thing and gave only two. With one also being a different color.

Upon closer inspection, I actually have 2 extra tips. One is white, the other is black. The black tip blended in with the black paper background, so I didn't notice it until now. I also double checked to confirm that no instructions came inside the small wrapper packaging.

Did another person say he has 6 different tips included with his new Note 10? Or that he has accumulated 6 tips from previous purchases?

Didn't it come with a quick-start guide, which includes a link to Samsung's support site, where the user manual resides?

Also, you can get to the user manual via the Help section of the phone's Settings.

I love that they tell you "don't pinch your fingers. nib is a part of my everyday vocabulary. I'm into fountain pens and love me some good nibs.

When I used to try to be cool, I collected gold Cross and Monte Blanc pens. I can't even find them anymore, barely used them. I had a "baby" Monte Blanc pen that came with a classical music CD in a box. Cost something like $200 at the time. I liked the pen, but it was a total waste, haha. But to this day, I can still appreciate a "fine" point blue color refill. Can't stand medium point, cuz it will smudge.

Who's going to read all 185 pages?
It's not meant to be read like a novel. But it's worth skimming to have an idea of what's there. Then you can return to the appropriate section later if you need more detail.

If you glance at each page for a few seconds, you can get through the whole thing in less than ten minutes. It can be a helpful exercise for a device with this many features.

2/3/4 definitely came with spare s-pen tips and the tool, they don't really wear at all so it more a matter of if you like the softer or harder tip

This. Try the whiteish point. It used to provide slightly more traction on glass screen protectors.
