Anyone know why I can't get internet through my hotspot connection (Huawei)

Hi all,



I am using a Huawei Mediapad X2 on the T-Mobile network in the United States (New Jersey to be specific.)



I am unable to access the Internet through any hotspot connected device. I've tested these devices using my wife's T-Mobile Note 5 and they all connect to the Internet right away; but I cannot connect to the Internet with the Huawei. With my Surface Pro, internet options , clearly shows that a connection has been made; although, indicates that no Internet access is possible.



Again, with my wife's T Mobile Note 5, it accesses the internet immediately.

Does anyone have any idea why I can't access the internet over the Huawei hotspot? The phone itself has no difficulty accessing the Internet via it's T-Mobile connection generally showing an H or H+ along with all five bars.

Welcome to Android Central! Which T-Mobile plan are you on? Are you certain it includes tethering, and if so, are you sure you haven't used up your monthly tethering allowance?
