Not sure what all the clamoring is over ICS. It's way too buggy for me at this point (based on my perusing of term Nexus forums). If I wanted to be a beta tester I would have bought a Nexus. Let the beta testers work out the kinks so that the rest of us can enjoy it once we get it.

I keep hearing that ics is buggy. Where are people getting this? I've had zero bugs in ics. Please explain these bugs to me.

I don't find it buggy other than my battery life isn't very good and the Android OS is taking 60% of my battery.

I have been reading about them the Nexus forums here and at DroidForums.com. Not to hard to find really.

Yeah I don't think that there have been many complaints about ICS being buggy. The only one I can think of are complaints about the OS keep awake time. Some complaints, which are valid in my opinion, are the fact that you cant separate notification volume from the ringer volume, that the ringtones are pathetically soft, and that the radio isn't the best at pulling in signals (comparing CDMA to CDMA as measured in decibles). Those are hardware and OS failings, but not bugs.

Now we are going to have an uproar over ICS!?!? Ridiculous... NO other device, except the Galaxy Nexus even has ICS... and some of you expect the RAZR to have it first... that is sooooo stu$*d... at CES Motorola high ups said Q2. Let's just wait and see.

If you don't like it, go buy a Samsung or HTC and see how bad they are at getting their devices updated.

I think that HTC is about the quickest for getting devices updated.

Coming from a GN user, and if it wasn't for having a Nexus you'd have depend on the lack of Samsung updates yourself... sounds like you are just trying to get reactions from Motorola RAZR users... or soon to be RAZR MAXX users.

Not really... although Farts sounds like he/she is just trolling for someone to get made at him/her.

i've already replied to posts like this in the thread. read them.

an owner of a different phone posting in a forum doesn't equal troll.

This thread has become extremely interesting and hilarious. Thanks to all who've posted, especially the GN owners who have taken over by eminent domain. I don't want to even attempt to determine why you're here, since the information gleaned from this thread is fascinating, from sociological and technological standpoints. The thoughts expressed here are a microcosm of current social tendencies and cultural influences. The desire to share information has completely "left the building" as the message now is "my phone is better than your phone because I chose it."

Thanks, this has been great!!!!!

irreverent to the topic at hand, which is how current razr owners feel about the razmaxx (hint: it's in the title)

Really... you said "anyone mad..." If you really wanted it to go to razr owners you should have said so in the title. The title doesn't actually say it's for razr owners only!!! You can edit the title if you want to be a little more specific.

Choose a word other than "irreverent," and thanks for supporting my observation!

gotta love nonsensical whiners :D

don't like the thread? then don't post in it.

Quite frankly I am somewhat surprised at how some have chosen to respond to a simple yet legitimate question.

a very small minority just like to take any opportunity they can to voice their hardcore fanboy opinions, whether they're pertinent to the topic at hand or not.

luckily, most have been cool :)

Quite frankly I'm surprised that yall 2 and a few others are surprised at the reaction yall got with some of the lil extra comments.

But hey....I'm not mad about the RAZR Maxx. In fact....Anandtech's G Nex review helps solidify that those that picked the RAZR made a good choice based on certain wants n needs.

ICS on the surface is a compilation of Blur, Sense and Touchwiz. Sure there are under the hood changes but Google openly admitted that they "borrowed" the best features from all of them.

Add that to a plastic phone with signal issues and I can see why Nexus owners want others to be made with their purchase. They need someone to commiserate with.

Let's just all pretend that we're mad so that the few Nexus owners in this thread can feel better.

Right back at you slick. Keep telling yourself you got the better phone and you'll actually think it's true..... until you are typing a response and you can't because you have no signal! LOL.
