Anyone see a working S7 demo model in store yet?

Here's some screenshots to show what I mean.

Nice screen shot in my opinion this phone is a beast and not worried on the least about it bugging out are slowing down for prove I have both a 6 plus edge and a note 5 since day one haven't had one issue . Trust me I've had every kind of android brand usually 5 different phones a year. These are the first phones that I've had where I've that one problem I see know reason to think that the gs7 will be any less . As far as bug fixes Samsung is no better are worse then any other android phone and no I've never like the boring featureless nexus brand . Every small issue that the gs6 had was mostly fixed with the note 5 gs6 edge plus and the gs7 edge has did a complete 360 trust anyone thinking of getting this phone i don't think you'll be disappointed

Wow, so you won't believe this...

So I just left Best Buy a little while ago and had some time to process the S7 edge. The screen was beautiful. The camera was fast and seemed like it would take a pretty much perfect picture. Kills my 6s Plus in speed. Really liked the phone.

But...

After some thought, I kind of have that "meh" feeling too. And I think it's because of the software. Still felt like a cluttered mess. And I know it'll get zero security updates. Which doesn't leave me feeling good. I'm an attorney and use my phone for work emails and such and would like to feel secure.

I don't know. On one hand it is absolutely impressive. On the other, it's the same clunky skin and delayed updates and security patches that Samsung has always been. I'm torn.

I kind of sum it up like this. Samsung is more media oriented. (camera, video, customization, theming, etc.) IOS business oriented. (security, more updates, what you see is what you get, all apps readily available.)

Not making a very good argument, but for me i'll give the s7 edge a try for 13 days and go from there.

So how did the weight feel? I was a bit disappointed in it being on paper quite a bit heaver than past ones. It will be about 0.7 oz heavier than my phone. Indeed it is impossible to tell how heavy it is when strapped to a table and the cord pulls on you.

It is heavier due to a bigger battery

I'm still gonna give it a shot. I'm also a little confused about the regular S7 over the edge. I want the battery of the edge but the flat screen of the S7.

Played with both S7 and S7 edge today. Impressed with both. Screens were bright with vibrate colours. So I'll be getting both in Gold.

I went tonight to take a look. (Best Buy in Houston TX) I've already pre-ordered the 7, but after taking a look at the 7 Edge, I'm having second thoughts. Both devices are very nice...vibrant Samsung screen and camera is top notch, but the 7 Edge just feels super premium. Again, the 7 is a piece of art in itself, but the 7 Edge really sets itself a part. For me personally, the only reason why I may stick with the 7 is that it's smaller and I don't need to use two hands to maneuver it.

I didn't take pictures of the two devices, but most Best Buy's should have the units for demo by Monday. If you're on the fence, and not afraid to take advantage of the 13 day return policy, it may be worth trying both.

I pre ordered my S7 in black on Tuesday morning. Was worried that I might end up wanting the S7 Edge being that I have the S6 edge, but afterplaying with it at the local best buy I know I made the right choice. I like the S7 Edge it's not as bad as the Note series size wise, doesn't require the finger gymnastics, and down the line I may end up getting one, but I will need to play with one that isn't tethered to a table. That 5.1 screen size really is a sweet spot.

Over all Samsung fixed all the issues with S6/edge line. Sd card slot, water/dust proof, bigger battery. Inever had issues with the camera. Glad they ended the MP race. Any one notice the metal bar felt a bit different like it had a glaze coating on it or was that just me?

I think I've already decided.

I'm buying one if my current phone bites the dust unless the Note 6 comes out by then.

My current phone still works very well for my usage pattern, but the S7e is definitely the one I'd go for.

Hi, where are you testing the Galaxy S7 in the UK? I would like to go and test one here myself. Thanks !

I sure did today

Same here. I need the battery life of the edge. Sounds like our perfect phone would be the Note 6. I hardly use the pen for anything though.

Yeah. I'm assuming that would be what I want. But we won't see that for 5-6 months. The pen is just an added bonus to me. I never used it much when I had the Note 5. I think I'll give the edge a shot. Even though I prefer the flat screen.

Both the S7 and S7 Edge was at my local Costco and I was playing with it for awhile. Great screen and size for the S7...love the Edge sides but not the size.

I also played with both yesterday at Costco. I"m opposite of you: I didn't love the curved screen, but I did love the bigger size of the Edge.

Went to bestbuy tonight and played around with the S7, the screen is amazing, size is perfect, edges on back felt nice natural . Cant wait to get it !
