Anyone starting to have any doubts?

I'm getting this phone on Sunday. All I want to know is how many people in WNY (Buffalo area) will be also heading to the Galleria Mall to pick this phone up so I know how early to get there and get mine first

Thanks....it still says I'm not due until 2/19/11 but by checking I was able to find another line on my account that is eligible

If you are slightly outside your your window you can call customer service and they might be able to help. Otherwise, call cancellations and tell them you want to know your early termination fee because you want to upgrade your phone and you are 1 week away. they will cater to you, that is a promise.

The funny thing is over the last few days ive gotten cold feet on the atrix and am leaning towards the inspire. Especially since I got to play with one of the ten that showed up at our store today!!!! hahahaha. Worst case scenario I get this phone sunday or whenever and get another phone in 6 months like i usually do. I wish I could stay happy with a phone longer than 6 months but It's sooooo hard

i currently have an iphone 4 and have used the front camera. over the holidays im away from my fam and my brother and i have gotten on video chat. i can see and talk to my family. its really nice, but im so sick of apples crap that im going over to this phone in april.

I second that notion. I am done with apple telling me what they want me to do with MY phone. I love my iPhone 4 but it's virtually the same interface from DAY 1. No widgets no themes ect. If you have an iPhone you know what I am talking about.

Next apple will let us use themes and call it an upgrade like they did with MMS,TXT tones,Wallpapers

well I'm sensing a bit of sarcasm there but basically if you have owned an HTC android and a Motorola android you would agree that HTC gives better support for android and there is great dev support for htc too. keep in mind I am lucky because I have multiple lines i can use for upgrade so I'm not stuck with one for 20 months

but I dont know if any current smartphone including the atrix will realistically go for more than a day, at least two full days. if you go barebones and dont use your phone you might get a day and a half and still be stuck charging mid day. but if you just use your phone you'll get a day and charge it at night.

If you look at the different video reviews the main difference in performance is how quick games/apps load and some flash videos. Each person has specific things they do on their phones on a daily basis and there is a phone that fits that. hell, theres multiple phones that fit that, but at this point I dont know if the Atrix is going to give me personally anything more than the HTC besides a half a day of battery. I'll know more IF/WHEN I decide to pick any new phone and i will report back lol

I have a charger at home, in the car, and at work, as a previous iPhone user, I am used to not having a battery worth a damn. Battery is not an issue to me.

Theres always the Ebay market. Phones make it about 3 months with me. Its a constant recycle of the same money.

Now, don't flame me, I'm not bashing the Inspire.

Last 24 hours or so I'm starting to have small doubts. They go like this:

The Inspire is the same device as the Desire HD which launched 3-4 months ago, so we are dealing basically 3-4 month old tech...which in the world of Android is a long time.

That HTC may release the Pyramid on T-mobile, then turn around and release it on AT&T in three months. The Pyramid is rumored to have that qHD screen and dual core processor...and most likely a bigger battery, with the same size 4.3 in screen(qHD sure would look sweet at 4.3in)

That HTC may release a whole new device that will take advantage of AT&T's coming true 4G network(LTE)

I'm just wondering if it's smart to blow my upgrade wad on a device that may leave me salivating over other devices very soon.

I know some will say "there is ALWAYS something new coming", and I agree with this to an extent.....I'm just afraid something better may be coming sooner than usual.

My gut tells me this is basically going to be HTC's entry level device on AT&T and that a more feature rich device is coming around the corner. $99 is pretty great price.....so can you imagine what HTC can offer for $199??!! I bet it will be the AT&T version of the Pyramid.

Anyway I'm just thinking out loud....wondering if anyone else is getting cold feet?

Well just letting you know that best buy dont know if you shop their or not has this new plan call the buy back. which you can buy the inspire and if you did do the upgrade, yeah you paid 100 for it but the real price is like idk...$550 or w.e you get 50% back if something comes out with in like 6 months(they have 6-12-18-24month) you can 50% back of your phone(with in 6months) at the original cost so you would get 275$ as an example..but take a look into that plan you might be impressed with it and at least you would save some money..
