Anyone Upgrading to V40?

Anyone that has been on the G6 for awhile plan on upgrading? Really have loved my nearly two years with the G6 and have had a great customer service experience with LG. This makes me want to give them my next 18-24 months with their next phone.

Anyone else looking at the v40?

Pre-ordered and waiting !! Been waiting 6 months for this to come out. Love my G6 too but I want more real estate. I had a V30 and I regretted getting rid of it.

I will be upgrading my daughter's G6. Haven't decided if I'll get her the V30 or V40 yet.

Sprint currently has a great deal for the V30+

Did you go from the G6 to the V30 or the other way around? The more I'm looking at it i don't know if I can upgrade at full price. Maybe by Christmas it'll be down enough to make it manageable.

Actually I went from a V30 to a Sammy S9+ (loved the size but fat fingers and curved screen are no good) So I grabbed a G6 till the V40 came out.

FYI - just got it today and I Love Love Love it.

I've got a G6 now, and have been considering upgrading thru ATT's NEXT program to get the V40. However, my G6 is working great now so I'm a bit hesitant to make the move. I'm planning to wait for more online reviews and to see one in person before making my decision to upgrade.

I'm in the exact same boat as you. I love my G6, will be able to upgrade in a few months, but the G6 is working so we'll, would hate to trade it in. Also got it on half off with bill credits so i actually get the maximum value of it if i make the payments for the full 30 months and then keep the device.

However, i have zero confidence my new phone envy will allow me to go the entire time with an available upgrade staring me right in the face for 6 months.

I'm so tempted now to upgrade from my LG G6 to the V40. AT&T had an offer where I can trade in an old smartphone and get $400 credit towards the V40. Old smartphone only needs to be worth $20 minimum. Gotta visit a store and check one out in person - I'm a bit worried the V40 would be too large for my taste.

Pretty much this. I've got the S8 and it's pretty much still perfect, for me. I'm waiting to see if TMobile has any deals on the V40 during the holidays

Gotta visit a store and check one out in person - I'm a bit worried the V49 would be too large for my taste.

It's big, no doubt. I popped into TMobile last week to check it out. For my taste, it's on the verge of being to big, but not by much. It's a go for me. I'm more of a standard S9/G7 guy, regarding size, but I'm willing. The display looks great.

Thanks for that tip about the phone arena comparison tool. Looks like the V40 is about the same size as the iPhone 8 Plus (which my wife has). That's a big increase in size from my G6! I still want to see it in person before deciding....

Basically, I think it would fit in my pocket. If it didn't, that would be a nonstarter for me.
