Mine used to say 27-28 but today Google changed it to 28-29.

Mine was changed from delivered Oct 27-28 to Nov 6-9. Most disappointing.

Oh okay was trying to see if maybe it was a specific type of color/carrier but i guess not because mine is on Google Fi and 128GB.

Very speedy and fluid. I'm coming from a s21 plus. Pixel screen noticeably dimmer than the galaxy. Not liking the placement of the power button. I'd do a deep dive for you guys but I have a busy weekend.

Is the screen really dim? If it's about the same as pixel 5 it's okay for me.. I saw the demo unit at Best buy and it's look quite dimm but I thought because demo unit is different..

Is the screen really dim? If it's about the same as pixel 5 it's okay for me.. I saw the demo unit at Best buy and it's look quite dimm but I thought because demo unit is different..

When I went into BB this morning to check out the two phones and take a picture I had to increase the brightness of my Pixel 4a to see the camera screen, I also did the same on the 6 Pro. It was immediately obvious that my phone is much brighter than the Pro.
As long as I can see the Pro's screen outside in the daylight I'll be ok.

Maybe some kind of modern technology believes that "noticeably dimmer" is better for our eyes and the battery - ?

Maybe the Pro was set to Adaptive Brightness. I guess I'll see next week.

Pixel always has dimmer screens but once you use the phone exclusively and not side by side you it won't bother most peeps...

The Pro screen brightness was compared side by side with my Pixel 4a, both phone at full brightness. My Pixel was brighter than the Pro.
Again I'll check out the Pro brightness outside in full sun when it arrives. Like I wrote above if I can see it outside in full sun I'm fine.

I had to hop over to BB to check out the brightness. Next to my S20+, the Pro was every bit as bright (if not brighter) and the whites were whiter. A good display. Maybe not the raw nits of the S21 Ultra, but I am no longer concerned!

That's good to read. The Pro that I was looking at may have Adaptive Brightness on.

I had the 4a 5G previously..from the naked eye not having them side by side the one I saw looked brighter …but these demo phones at BB are tough sometimes to judge ..
