Has anyone started work on a port of AOKP, and if not, would anyone be willing to do so? I'm not an experienced coder, nor do I have a ton of porting experience, but I'm willing to test and have enough know-how to provide some meaningful feedback. My personal favorite build so far (in so much as its customization options and general speed) was TDM's Quattrimus ICS, but I'd love to see a ZVJ native AOKP Jellybean with that kind of support/development.

Any thoughts/takers/comments?

My only comment is that I doubt you'll ever see it. My first guess is that it's too big for our phones. CM10 barely fits as it is.

That has me wondering what the size difference between the two is on install. In .zip, the AOKP is only 4 megs larger than CM9 (using Quatt as the basis, since they're nominally the same rom).

Now, on install, BobZ's CM10 leaves ~100 megs of space before the Apps2SD script takes over and things get comfy again. How much larger is the AOKP JB2 release than the standard CM10? I would answer it myself, but all the AOKP downloads seem to be broken for me.

Is it possible? I think a year ago a lot of people thought CM9 wouldn't run. Now TheKraven's CM9 is my preferred rom and I have plenty of space. What makes the AOKP build harder to shoehorn in than CM? I'm super curious...

Man. Makes me want to learn to code just to do it. I think my wife might kill me, though. "Another hoby? <BANG>"

I have no idea. It's possible TDM will try to pick it up, as that is what he did with Quattrimus. He has said multiple times he is going to look into Jellybean after he is done working on the Slider and the Marquee.
