Anyone else have issues with the motorola gallery? I switched to it because I felt the 3D gallery was a little slow for my liking. But after I switched the mot gallery would not open.
I'm also noticing that Launcher Pro+ kept locking up. I'm giving ADW a shot, but I miss the LP+ widgets.

having the same problems with the blur gallery that you are. just switched to aosp version for the time being, though i would prefer the blur version. LPP is running fine for me though.
How or what can I flash over apex 1.3.1 ? It has nice features but has been giving me lots of problems.

You should be able to flash any deodexed rom for .340. You will just need to do a data wipe prior.

From my experience only....
GummyJar: Old 2.1 camera/video and my GF got 7 text from one output! Yikes! It is fast, and the transitions are nice and subtle. Fresh scripts, and fresh period.
RubiX: Solid. The percent indicator on the battery in the NP is tacky, and I don't think it has the best battery life (ran themed only) though that could be placebo. Slowest of them all (IMO) but smooth, yes smooth.
Apex: Winner by several stones. Just enough blur to sync all the accounts plus my space, picasa, photo bucket, twitter, skype, email (besides yahoo corporate and gmail which are all synced on every ROM, but other major players only show on Apex. Apex has the REAL sized GB keyboard. Non of this stretched weird stuff (size does matter weird crud) Jeez, it is a 4.3 X, WTH make the Keyboard bigger on other roms (thank you Fabulous for keeping it real.) Apex is fastest. Wicked fast. If you haven't run the latest, you be missing. I think the battery life on apex is the best, though I did not give GJ a fair chance there because of text bugs and old camera tech (the X camera needs the latest, it is to good to be stuck with old software) The Apex transition animations are unique and the best. My sig stay true, and Apex is the vertex: the highest point (of something); "at the peak of the pyramid" the bugless best for me. I think all the ROMS I have tried so far, hold a candle strong and have their individual strengths, but I am so picky, I am annal retentive. Apex gets my official stamp of the best ******* ROM out! Peace.....
Apex is the only ROM that didn't revert to that gawd awful plus minus bar on the screen for zooming. That is tacky I think, and Apex ROMs don't revert there either. Happy ROM running fellow X geniuses : )

I sbf'd over apex now im unrooted. However my android is not stock. Adw is still,my launcher. Its like have apex on an unrooted phone?

If yo want to get back to stock just do a factory reset. settings/privacy/factory data reset.

I am new to installing ROM's but I think Fab hit it out of the park with this one. I installed ApeX 1.3.1 last night and have nothing but good to say about it. Running smooth, no FC's or any issues at all. Trust me! After installing the ROM I beat the thing to death trying to find issues! Very impressed.. that being said I had to give credit where credit is due and donated to the beer fund!

LOL, I have to admit I was torn between Gummy and ApeX. Another one of the IT guys in my group went with Rubix and I've never been the "follower" type I researched both Gummy and Apex and am really happy with my choice!
Yeah, I tried Gummy for about half the day yesterday and flashed back over to Apex. Unlike so many others on here, I just can't live a completely blurless life. Some apps (messaging and camera, specifically) are just better with blur.

Since I lost my stock backup, lol, ApeX has become my replacement "stock backup". At least until I SBF for the next OTA update. After trying a few different roms, I returned to ApeX and it was like "hello, old friend". Def a good rom to start with.
My buddy in the office who recently flashed the new Rubix which is based off of Gummy has really been eyeballing my install of Apex. The Rubix is nice and all but that AOSP camera is junk! He is sticking to his guns and installed the blur camera. Apex kept the "only" good things about blur and I really do like it overall. I've got bets that my buddy will have Apex running in the next couple of days.
