Apex ROM new verizon update?

My droid x downloaded verizons new update this morning, should I install it with a rooted phone running Apex?

I don't own a Droid X so I'm not familiar with the Apex rom but if it's not 100% stock with root the update will fail. You have to be on a rom that is completely stock without any of the stock apps removed for the update to work. If that's the case there is a really cool app in the market called OTA Root Keeper that will back up root for you so you can update by OTA and then restore root and you'll have root access again. Hope all that made sense.
