[APP][ONE-CLICK ROOT] Sons of Korhal Root Utility 1.0.1

some old school root methods (not this one) would root and than require to manually install SU from the market.

lg optimus s goes through the program fine but ask to reboot.once rebooted how do i know its rooted.downloaded some apps and its says im not rooted.

LG Optimus S, on Fido's network. The utility runs, and says "the battle was won". The phone reboots. SuperUser is installed... but if I try running an app that requires superuser access, it won't let me. The SuperUser prompt never prompts.

Any idea of where I go from here? I'm a bit stumped :(

I did all the steps, installed the drivers and everything else, ran the application, it said it was a success and it even rebooted my phone. My phone still works fine, just no root. Someone help me! Email me at kingfrausty@gmail.com with any help.

i have the optimas s i did everything it rebooted said the battle was won but the apps i was tring to use says i am not rooted

have you granted them Superuser permissions? OPen the Superuser app and check under "Deny". Also check that "Always allow" is checked.

IV used a couple of rooting methods IV seen a few cases where super user would copy over be installed but still be unrooted

Please read the first post (and look at the screenshots). Sons of Korhal is NOT an Android app. It requires Windows though I am working on Linux and Mac versions.

Drew, I'm trying to root my Optimus Slider VM701, but have no PC access. Did you ever create a android app to root the slider? I'm also hoping maybe I can do it strictly from terminal emulator? Please help. Any suggestions?
