I notice people with what appears to be a lot of apps on there Evo 4g but if I get to 20-25 in run out out space. Any suggestions? This includes the ones that were already there when I purchased and cant be deleted.
The one you don't use you can also uninstall all the updates for them and that will give you more space. They will show up as needing updates but I just ignore it on the one I don't use.
The more permanent fix should you choose to keep this phone for a while is to root it, partition the micro SD card, and then flash a rom that has a2sd built in and you will never have to worry about this problem again. This process doesn't take too long but it does require a bit of reading in the forums and some research before you dive right in.
The stickies in the Evo4G rooting/hacking forum are a good place to start for rooting guides and then I would point you to xda-developers forums for current roms with a2sd built in. Here is one for example:
