Wow, really? No offense, but you are an idiot.
It looks like you're here only to troll, but I'll make an attempt to have an actual discussion, if you're up to it.
...Has anyone ever considered that maybe the reason Apple is dragging all these companies to court is because maybe they are guilty?
Hell, the entire Android system can be attributed to Apple, ironically enough. Don't know what I'm talking about? Do a little research on how Android got started.
...
First off, whether they are guilty or not is for the courts to decide; before that, they are NOT guitly by definition, even if they've gone against the law.
Second, it's overly simplistic to talk about guilt when the only driving force behind the lawsuits is money. It's not a moral but entirely business issue.
Now, if you understnd the point above, you are ready to consider that the current laws are NOT designed to promote business optimally. By protecting simple to develop, yet difficult to circumvent ideas, they are stalling development. Try designing another way to fit points equidistantly from a center by not using a circle -- you can't, and some of the patents Apple is currently using to fight HTC/Samsung are almost equally simple. Those patents should have never been granted.
If you do actually do some research on Android you'll find out that it was an old idea of Google which did, during its development, adopt very few non-essetial features from iPhone, but certainly NOT via Schmidt or Page, unless you think Apple are idoits who let themselves get scerwed from behind...
