If you would of read my last sentence, I clearly stated what I feel is a better value for the money. I personally feel that they rape their customers because they are not providing them with the latest and greatest tech for what they charge, especially when it comes to personal computers! Perhaps, this is why you don't own a single apple device?! I understand that even though you don't own a apple device, you are clearly invested in its success.

and for the record.....I don't hate Apple. In fact, I've encouraged many older family members of mine to their products because they are user friendly! I just dislike their OSes for all their devices for my personal use.

Well Samsung manufactures the soc for apple other companies make other components for the iPhone as well, they are suppliers then they are actually assembled by foxconn in China but in the tech world I'm sure lots of manufactures have a idea what there competitors are offering

What I was trying to imply simply is that whatever components Samsung is producing for Apple, they can produce those same components better for their own devices, if possible.

I invest bc i understand their business/model and product life cycles, which often translates to my benfit via their stock price. i think you'll see what I mean once you get more exposure to aspects of business beyond what you're getting in a single general business (?) course. now... which device is more feature rich is not only relative but a sepeate argument entirely.

obivously i have an invested interest in android as well seeing as how im on this forum and am looking fwd to the gs3 as much as the next guy. its just too painful to simply sit back sometimes and read these posts w/o commenting that's all.

Apple pays up front to secure parts. That's a well known fact. And even if they didn't, their are multi-billion dollar contracts that Samsung has to honor or face legal ramifications. They can't just choose not to give apple the parts they are contracted for.

Also, you need to do some searching for how much apple actually pays Samsung every year. Its in the tens of billions of dollars.

All I was saying was that they make the choice to continue to do business with Apple(one way).... or they could break their contracts and return the money(another). I didn't know they did billions in business. That's my bad. Knowing that, I don't see the lawsuits stopping. It's as if Apple is forcing a rebate. Apple should realize that Samsung will need to defer litigation costs to their consumers...which in turn would eventually mean a higher price for Samsung parts. I can' help but feel like Apple is shooting themselves in the foot by not trying to work these issues out with Samsung outside of court.

Separate parts of Samsung. Thee lawsuits against mobile have no bearing, financial or otherwise, on apples parts business.
