Apps are greyed out

Hi friends,

All apps on my Samsung tablet are suddenly greyed out and not usable. When I try to open them I get this message: "Cannot open this app. You do not have permission to perform this action." The tablet is company owned, has a Device Policy installed and only has 1 Google account configured.

Can someone please help me?

Welcome to Android Central! You've already tried rebooting?

I would agree with Laura Knotek -- the first people to call would be your work IT department.
 
If the device is controlled by the IT department, it's a little puzzling that they can't figure it out. Can you at least ask them to reset the tablet for you, and then set it back up for you?
 
They don't know it, that's why I'm here hoping someone would recognize the greyed out apps :)
Unfortunately because this a work device and protected by them we can't further assist to violate there security / limits they placed on the device for the user .
 
Eventually the IT department resetted the device and of course everything is working again.
