Apps dropping

Hi there

Samsung S3
carrier VF
Age 14 months

My apps just constantly drop out and return to home screen. Betting/newsgroups/Internet all affected. It's making it impossible to use. This is on 3G/E/Wifi - makes no difference

I've noticed the music player has now started to cut out regaularly on songs. The play symbol still shows but the song is dead. By clicking pause button on my headphones it usually starts again but then same happens

Welcome to Android Central! Try a cache partition wipe using these instructions: http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...ing-into-recovery-mode-galaxy-s2-s3-tab2.html. Just make sure you choose "Wipe cache partition" and not "Erase data."

Thanks I have done that and will monitor.
Unrelated fault I have also which you may be able to help with
I got my phone repaired because the charger connection was loose. When you moved th cable, it would charge sometimes but then would stop.
However sepsite the fact that has helped, I cannot charge with USB and even electrical charging works for a period of time then stops. I have to take the elad out and put back in to kick start. I have swapped batteries etc and the battery is fine

Are you using the original charger and cable, or a 3rd party brand? Use the original if you can. However, cables and chargers can go bad, so if you are using the original charger and you're still having problems, consider getting a new charger and cable (or borrow a friend's).

The original was a USB one so I've had to swithc. I've tried 5 different one's so far and this one isn't brilliant!

PS Just tried Betfair/newsnow anand so far so good

Tried music and same problem - just stops the song dead!

Are you using a micro SD card? If so, try unmounting and removing it. Sometimes corrupt SD cards can cause problems. If you have an extra SD card, try swapping it in.
