I had this conversation just after receiving the Note 20 Ultra 5g and they basically said the same. I do have spare nibs and a removal tool from the Note 9 or 10 but I've never really needed to change them.

As posted here, the old removal tool sounds really useful. Perhaps find then on eBay or similar

It comes out just fine using the tool provided in my Note 10+

I have all the removal tools from my all my Notes. If I ever have the need to replace them out I have the tools and extra tips of that's even possible.

He only scraped the edge of the tip with the blade. However, the tool appears to latch onto the tip and supply pressure more evenly. As much as I like his humorous videos, I would not base the fact they are replaceable of not.

Well I'm pretty sure because as already stated someone here has done it. Jerry Rig didn't use the right tool.

I've tried to carefully pull it out and it doesn't come out like my previous notes. It feels like it wants to tear as well. One person vs many saying its not including Samsung.

So, if it is assumed the S-pen nibs cannot be replaced, from those with experience with S-pens, how long does a nip last under normal use? I mean under designed use on the phone screen. Discounting damage due to the end from picking at something you shouldn't pick at with an S-pen, using it as a regular pen by mistake, etc.

A replacement pen on Samsung is $49.00. Not a bad price if the S-pen is lost, stolen or you used it to pry open a beer bottle and destroyed the tip; however, rather expensive if the nip wears out from normal use a few times a year.

Curious, the S-pen is one reason why I have re-ordered a S22.

The many saying it's not included came from talking to Samsung customer service. Ask the poster who says they did it. I think they have no incentive to lie.

Agreed. I think a video of someone replacing it is what we need to see. As I am not sure those here are willing to destroy their s-pens for the cause. lol.

Not Best Buy, but I wouldn't dare try to change one that I didn't purchase.

Note the Matte finish of the S22 Spen.

(It's already the white plastic tip because I changed it already, and changed it back to my preferred tip after recording.)

As far as Amazon goes, you have to find the stuff that is actually from the name branded stores.. I bought this one from the link provided .. it's from the Samsung Amazon store.

The official S Pen replacement comes with S Pen tips that I'm sure wouldn't be included if the tips weren't replaceable.

But is Samsung's separately-sold S22U S Pen necessarily the same model as the one that comes with the phone?

That would be a question for tech support .. I'm only saying I trust it because it's from the Samsung store on Amazon. (Same store that has the phones.) I wouldn't trust stuff like this from anyone else or any random seller. I believe I got my Galaxy Buds Pro from there as well.
