Are there signal boosters that improve speed/bars without the need of a internet connection & fees?

The signal on my Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 3 isn't very good & the nearest cell tower is not close by.
I read about Sprint's Airave , but I don't want to connect it to my internet connection, let alone pay a $5 monthly fee.


IS there such a device that I can just plug into a wall or into my phone & it will automatically boost the signal strength of my phone?
Are there signal boosters or antennas that work for Sprint phones & are like that?

No. Only option is to enable wifi calling.

They have one that goes through your Internet called an Airave... That's about it though. Unless you grab a 3rd party one which I've heard are expensive.

I been reading around, what about repeater or amplifier?
Will they work to amp the signal for Sprint on my Note 3?
Do they also require an internet connection as well?

I'm on sprint and I got my airave for free as long as it stays connected. If I unplug it for over 90 days, they'll charge me 140.00.

Yes, but if you return it back to them, they will credit that charge.

Yes they do make signal boosters. Wilson (check on Amazon, probably the best place to buy). The better models claim "up to a 30 db boost) A lot of people on camping forums I belong to sware by them. They are "pricey" but if you can believe the forums, they work. Only work if you have a cell signal, no signal - won't work.
Make sure it would be compatable with the Sprint frequancys.
