According to the specs, the Note 20 is very slightly larger than the Note 10. --I have the Note 10 and, typically, prefer smaller phones. But when comparing the Note 10 & Note 20 at Best Buy, I would be fine woth.tgw difference.I see the Note 20 is roughly the same size as the Note 8. I exchanged my Note 8 for the S10e to get a smaller phone. Missed the s-pen so when I learned the Note 10 wasn't much larger I traded in the S10e for the Note 10.
I've ordered the Note 20 hoping it was about the size of the Note 10. Guess I will be back to the size I thought was too large. Need to get shirts with deep pockets so it won't fall out when I need to bend over.
Or, I may decide to send it back to Samsung and keep the Note 10. I guess it all comes down to whether it impresses me enough to accept the size as something I can live with without regret.
I'm still on the fence about the Note 20. Those who have not already done pre-ordering, do you plan to upgrade or are you gonna stick with the Note10 for now? The price for the Ultra gives me anxiety. That alone may keep me from upgrading. I'd like to see what promos the carriers come up with. Will there be any freebies? Any decent discounts? Hopefully Best Buy will get a demo soon so I can see it in person. Maybe that will help me make up my mind.
Note 10 is a great device, but not much will trickle down to the Note 10. This small list won't go to it.Sticking with the N10 for now. I figure some of the N20 upgrades will trickle down.
5G is pretty much the same for most carriers right now. The general rule is don't buy a new phone for just 5G. You jumped the gun last year going with the 5G version. On a side note, 5G is going to be faster, but it also doesn't penetrate buildings very wellIt's all about how happy I am with my Note 10+ and my dislike for the current state of Verizon 5G.
I truly am happy with my Note 10+. It is functioning actually better now than when I purchased at launch last year with upgraded OS from Google and Samsung providing new and improved features.
Furthermore, I am completely unimpressed with Verizon 5G.
I hear it is very fast but you literally have to be sitting directly under the tower to connect.
In Michigan the Verizon 5G coverage area can be measured in city blocks not miles.
At this point 5G is a negative to me for any Verizon phone.
It is just useless hardware on the phone that I am paying for that is taking up space and power from the battery.
I hope that Verizon 5G will be further developed this time next year when the next Note launches with the new tech Samsung announced but left off the Note 20 line.
If Verizon hasn't caught up I may have to switch to T-Mo.
I truly hope you enjoy your Note 20. For me not one of those items seem important. I have been using sPens extensively since 2013 and never noticed any issuea with latency. I take a lot of meeting notes using sPens on phones and tablets. I don't game so the high refresh rate just seems like a battery draining feature. I am probably just old, but I don't notice a difference when I test out phones with a high refresh rate.Note 10 is a great device, but not much will trickle down to the Note 10. Note 20 ultra
High refesh rate screen 120 hz adaptable
Little bigger battery
Faster 3.1 internal speed
Gorilla glass 7
Camera software will be different
S pen latency
Brighter screen 1500nits
Yeah really liking this Note 20 ultra over my Note 10+ , the Note 10+ is still very vertical good device and understand everyone won't think its a upgrade . I do a lot of business work on my phone. Major user of O365, including Teams and OneNote and my 512 Note 10 plus is a beast. I have read a lot of reviews on the Note 20s and just don't see one compelling feater for My Needs. That said, my needs are unique and others I am sure will love their Note 20s. I look forward to reading your updates on the Note20.

Yeah Tmobile on right track just little slower 5g compared to Verizon but better penetration more area coverage.I didn't buy the 5G version of the Note 10+
That's why I am very happy with my phone and feel no need to upgrade.
There is a huge coverage disparity in 5G right now with Verizon being by far the worst.
It is very difficult to find a Verizon 5G coverage area because they are few, far between and very small.
Hi band 5G is much faster but has trouble penetrating just about anything and that's pretty much all Verizon has right now.
Mid and low band 5G has very good range and can penetrate buildings but isn't nearly as fast.
T-Mobile started with mostly low and mid band 5G and has nationwide coverage while Verizon has a few hot spots in a few dozen cities.
It will be a least a year before Verizon has a significant usable 5G network.
I do the att upgrade program. So I end up paying the same monthly installments year after year. Just give them your phone and get the new one. I figure if I went out of my way to sell it I might come out ahead but don't want to go through the bother. I would have upgraded to the new Note but I don't see the a bump in features I really need to have.Nah, yearly upgrades aren't that huge. So skipping a year gets you more bang for your buck. Remember when 2 years and even 3 years was the normal upgrade cycle. Somehow it has become one year now. Trying to go back to the 2 year cycle if I can.
