Are you emotionally attached to your device(s)?

Ever since the new N7 came out I've been tempted to ditch my 2012 N7 for the 2013 version. But my N7 is like my baby haha. I would feel so bad for ditching it, like I would hurt its little feelings. I would also miss the original N7 design and the rubbery dimpled texture on the back.

I also don't have much expendable cash, but it's still hard to look at the new N7 without thinking "I want that" and it sort of makes me feel like a "cheater" lol.

I'm not the only one who feels emotionally attached to a device he takes with him everywhere, right? I'm not crazy, am I? lol... O.o

I just purchased a moto x yesterday and it is being delivered tomorrow. Im like having panic attacks switching from my 4s just because I am so used to it. I am hoping to love the moto x and I really hope i dont have any issues messaging with iphones.

Are you kidding? I still have all my Android phones, from the NS4G, Gnex, Note 2 and the newest addition, Note 3. I have a touchy feely with them all everyday. :p It's an illness, lol.

My devices and I have an open relationship. Call me a swinger, player, or cheater but I always want my hands on the next hot gadget.

This. I'm a gadget *****. I have frequent, unprotected, and meaningless relationships with a large variety of gadgets. The exception is my laptop. We've only been together for 3 months, but I've gotten deep into her internals in an intimate way, and this has given us a special bond.

I am such a gadget ho. I've been told I change gadgets like people change socks. I also always want that latest and greatest android or iOS toy.

A couple days after, I realized I kind of regretted leaving my Stratosphere at the store when I got my Note 3. I used that phone for a lot of stuff for a couple years. It's the only piece of tech I've ever really parted with. I still have my NES even.

You've got to learn to let go. :)

My retired HTC Evo is still my alarm clock and bedside WiFi news device... a MyTracks GPS stand in as it can totally take a fall. The sound is still my " quite good" benchmark for any devices. My last piece of gingerbread... ;-)

My old N7 just went to my son. Loved that device and he does now too, but shhhh my new N 7 2 is so much sweeter... much much better sound first and foremost, better screen, even lighter and that little bit narrower across for a much better hand fit (thoughts I'd miss the back but don't) - the camera is a total plus even though its a tablet. It also sits better on my dash slot for Nav and can share the wireless charger with the N4. It bugged me for sharing USB chargers since their USB ports are in opposite directions that you kept having the cable was always shaping opposite to the following device and jamming USB cables isn't fun.

I do like the N4... it is exceptionally "ok"... but that is it. The camera isn't as good as the old HTC, nor the sound, nor battery life or durability... hoping the N5 would correct all that. It is somewhat there, no glass back at least. The camera is my biggest worry. I'll probably get an N5 if they do one of those unannounced minor revisions... but then again I might not. The N4 will get sold when it gets replaced though unless it isn't worth $100 and who knows... its the 8GB model so that might be the case once the market gets saturated. For that price its a good backup phone should things go bump in the middle of the night with the new phone.

N7 great
N4 ok
N5 ?? sticking with ok N4 for a while

Wish HTC got Google's nod to make a phone... they nailed it with the HTC1 but I want a less expensive phone.

Honestly, not attached to any Android phone I've owned. None of them felt right, they were just electronics. Went through most of the brands, 2LGs, 3 Samsungs, HTC.
But I did like just simply holding this one "phone" because it felt right but still. I actually liked the way it felt and using it. (Left out details on phone for flaming purposes)
And on another note, I did like flipping flip phones for no apparent reason, and wouldn't fear them breaking either.
