Re: Now that it's announced, will you be buying?

This phone is a YES. I can't buy it right this minute, I just got the Moto X 2nd Gen a week ago. Fantastic phone.
The Nexus 6 looks pretty awesome too. I can't decide if I want this or a Note 4 first, but I must have both by 2015.

I think I read that Android L will feature the always listening feature like Moto Assist does on the X. (Google now)
That means you don't have to have a Moto X to have this awesome feature. Hi Galaxy doesn't count, samsung software, nuff said there.

Re: Now that it's announced, will you be buying?

I don't think I'll be getting it, a but expensive for my pockets. But at this 650 price, everyone should expect a perfect phone or near perfect and none of that previous nexus bs problem.

Re: Now that it's announced, will you be buying?

it took me sixty three minutes to sell my new x on swappa. hell yes i am buying the nexus.

Re: Now that it's announced, will you be buying?

Just to be clear what are the main gripes people have on the n5 that they expect to see fixed on the n6 now that is is at around the same price as other flagships. My two main ones are battery life and camera.

Re: Now that it's announced, will you be buying?

Definitely "No". It has an awesome set of features - large battery, OIS camera, dual front speakers and wireless charging (all the stuff that Motorola didn't put into their latest "flagship" Moto X model) but the display is just too big. I don't need such display size, and I don't want it. But I'm sure plenty of other people will find it perfectly acceptable to them.

No.. for $500 ($99 on contract) i can get the same EXACT phone (Moto X) just a few centimeters smaller, with the same features even better, similar hardware, and not to forget i can customize it to my liking. Choose any color i want and storage size. plus its unlocked also?. Unless you playing a high intense game or watching a HD movie those specs aren't going to mean nothing using pure android.. its so smooth

Why would i wanna walk around with a mini tablet in my pocket.. it's not even a phablet anymore

I love the Nexus line and been a fan since the Nexus One but this is just too big and looks no different than the Moto X.

Same exact phone? I would disagree with that. Other than camera and maybe storage capacity at 32GB the internals are very different and in my opinion worth the 150 dollar premium over the the moto x. I do like the moto x customization options but unfortunately that isn't available where I live so its non factor for me anyways.

Re: Now that it's announced, will you be buying?

Man i really want this phone the only thing that is holding me back is the camera. Always hated how the camera performed on the nexus, i am going to wait for a review on it. if its as good as some of the higher end ones no problem paying 650 for it as i am ready to pick a note 4 up on friday.

Re: Now that it's announced, will you be buying?

Definitely - 64 Gig Midnight Blue - my Verizon contract is up fot my Note II on November 29th. Really glad this is 6 inches because the Note 4 was not worth the upgrade to me for an extra .2 inches...

I have to wait and see what it feels like in-hand before I make that decision.

Re: Now that it's announced, will you be buying?

Definitively NO. Big and more expensive than the other nexus launched. I want a phone which I can carry in my pocket, not in a bag

Re: Now that it's announced, will you be buying?

Having seen the european pricing for the Nexus 6 and a little math conversion to sterling. I reckon its about £450 for the 32Gb and £500 for the 64Gb. I was guessing around the £400 before the announcement, so not that far off. I'll raid the piggy bank, but I'll get one for sure :)

If I didn't fall in love with my G3 then yes....I guess I'll just have to wait some more for my first nexus device

It will cost more then that.

You converted it into sterling without adding Google tax lol. I will bet you it costs between £550-600
