Are you going to get the LG V20?

I'm tempted as Bluetooth on the Pixel has been a mess. I put a salesperson whom I only see once a year into a Pixel XL and his phone pairs with Bluetooth on his 2011 Chevy Truck but he cannot answer or make calls, which is a priority for him. And for myself, Bluetooth has been "wonky" in my 2016 Jeep, as it has locked up my UCONNECT many times (have to power off Jeep and back on after a few minutes) and the Camera has been a letdown, especially in low light.

So, quick question...how has Bluethooth pairing been, especially in older cars (like 2011.)?

Verizon apparently is knocking $200 off the V20 for Black Friday if purchased through the two year payment plan (no contract). That would mean $500 with tax for me. Will probably cancel my BB order again and just wait for the Black Friday sale at Verizon. Was waiting on the $200 Best Buy card, but this would be better.

It paired just fine with my 2005 Cadillac STS. The car only does phone calls, no music over Bluetooth.

Well I decided to trade in my V10 tonight on Verizon's black Friday deal. After all is said and done I will get the V20 for $200 spread over 24 payments. Now I can not wait till is ships!

I was going to get it, until i found out that it doesn't have a notification led. I've been down that road once already, but not again. No led is a deal breaker for me.

Why have an led when you can have an always on screen showing you exactly what your notification is with the screen off?

"Always on" is NOT always on. After so many minutes it shuts off until you touch the phone. With an led, i can see that i have an email or text from across the room. My phone isn't always in my pocket, or on my desk.

It doesn't turn off. It's always on. Unless it's face down or in a pocket. But ok I see your point about being across the room.

For the V20, unless you turn it off, the 2nd screen is always on.

Does the second screen dim after a while, or stay bright? Can you adjust the brightness of the second screen?

I have my display set to auto brightness, and the second screen seems to adjust itself to ambient light even with the main display off.

Hmmm.... WIth the current Sprint half off deal on the LG V20 and a $10 monthly service credit I can get this phone for $6.50 a month for 24 months. Almost a no-brainer. Just going to run it by SWMBO at lunch and probably order by this evening!

just got. mine a couple of days ago. Added a Zenwatch 2. Camera better than expected. Battery life better than expected. The one thing I note is a little sort of skip in the screen like it misses a frame or. something. Happens rarely. I think one of my widgets may do it when updating. I remember it happened on my note 3 too and I found the solution. No idea what I did.
