That's because you're itching for something else at that point...

Lol... What do you have now?Agreed. Who am I kidding? Of course, I'm buying the new one.
I just bought one for a great price. I love face unlock & Motion Sense. I think I'm staying put for a while.Pixel 4XL
Same here , the pixel 5 doesn't offer anything over the pixel 4xl from leaks i seen , and to put the pixel 5 close to pixel 4a release is crazy being close in specs .I just bought one for a great price. I love face unlock & Motion Sense. I think I'm staying put for a while.
You would need a bigger phone than the 4xl? Don't get me wrong I love the 4xl but it's a rather big slab of a phone. I wouldn't want anything with a bigger footprint, but a screen that actually reached edge to edge on it would be nice.I hate to say it but I may have to look elsewhere if the P5 rumors turn true. Don't get me wrong I absolutely love Google's phone lineup and have since the OG Pixel. I have large hands and have always purchased the larger variant, However if the larger variant is the same size or even smaller than 4XL, The writing may be on the wall for me. I just don't understand the logic in maintaining a moderate sized lineup without offering a larger display option like nearly every other manufacturer has been doing for those that need or prefer larger screened phones.
I'll be tuned in at the end of the month for either disappointment or excitement.

It would be an upper mid-range phone with 5G, a Snapdragon 765G chip and a 4,080mAh battery.
Like earlier rumors have suggested, the Pixel 5 would be an upper mid-range smartphone rather than a flagship like the Pixel 4. It would center around a 6-inch, 1080p OLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, and would carry a Snapdragon 765G rather than an 800-series chip, although this would bring 5G support. You’d also get a good-enough 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, along with a familiar camera setup that includes 12.2MP regular and 16MP wide-angle rear sensors as well as a front 8MP shooter.
