The defender has a built in screen protector.

And I would still do a screen protector anyways...the otterbox still let's dirt and dust in a little bit, don't want to slide that stuff around the screen, at least I don't.

To answer the question.....I didn't case my OG EVO, but I'm casing this one whenever Otterbox lets me.

That night sky is ugly...going black unless they put some other cool colors up...Not man enough to get the pink case a step down.

Naked. I used to use cases and screen protectors on my EVO 4G,but they were just an added expense. Screen protectors got scratched or hazy over time and cases broke or eventually looked pretty ratty.

My EVO has been naked for 8+ months now and - despite my almost daily drops - the phone has held up wonderfully. The metal T is missing from the battery cover, but that's it. No cracks anywhere else, never a damaged screen. And I've dropped it on concrete/asphalt 3 times!

Plus it feels much better. I have small hands and even thin cases add bulk.

Then again, perhaps I've used up all my luck on this phone!

Still undecided, naked sometimes, sometimes not I have the Sprint black hard case with the kick stand but hardly use it until I see someone else with a case then I use for a little while then for whatever reason it's in my mind though I start thinking it feels heavy and cumbersome even though it's not even a ounce in weight and so I go back to naked for the record I'm a Gemini LOL! dual personality.

Screen protector but no case. I hate the added bulk and a good screen protector generally is good enough as long as you're not dropping it on concrete

I've always just used a Skin-it skin and carry in a pouch . I always had extra battery so pouch allowed that and cleaning cloth to be carried. Not sure what I'm doing with this one yet might just go wth an otterbox or bodyglove case . Used them on other phones and they seem to work well.

Going naked. I'm not buying a slim phone to bulk it up with cheap plastic. I treat my phones very tenderly so a case isn't needed.
