For people on the fence because of the XL notch, I have an Lg G7 that has a notch, that I haven't seen since day 1 and I used the software to hide it. Google will be delivering the same type of software soon.

Keep in mind anytime Verizon does any deals, they don't give you the discount at one time, they do bill credits. And if you want to get the full discount, you can't pay it off early or upgrade, and have to keep it on an active line. If you don't do all of the above,you forfeit any remaining monthly bill credits.

What do you blow yer money on or use more than your phone.

I do like the notches on other phones better than the Pixel 3 XL. OnePlus, LG, and Huawei have done it better.

I'm on the monthlies with a Pixel 2XL through Verizon. Since Google and Verizon are not currently doing what Apple and Verizon do, with the annual upgrade option, I have no path forward that doesn't involve paying off my 2XL outright, and then upgrading.

I wouldn't have the disposable income to do that til tax time anyway, and even though I'm SUPER tempted to do just that, my disposable tax time "fun money" would probably be better spent either upgrading my gaming PC's GTX1070 to an RTX1080ti, or going for the Pixel Slate. So, burn as the desire truly does, I am very unlikely to actually make the move.

im debating between the note 9 and 3xl as well. I dont know if i can justify spending 1k on the XL just for the camera improvements. The note for the same price has so much more to offer.
