Ah yeah. I heard about that phone. The low end and midrange phone market is really pretty impressive these days. The Pixel XL just happens to be what I've been waiting for for years.

Low end and mid range smartphones are booming because some of them are specd like flagship devices but, are half or even a third of the price.

Stopped by a Verizon store just to see them in the "flesh". The Pixel looked really small and iphone-ish. The XL was very close to my 6P in size and shape. Felt similar in hand as well. Screen is noticeably better than the 6P. Cranked them both to full blast and the XL was crisper and color more accurate. That said, I didn't see near enough to make me want to switch. I'll wait till never year.

I agree, price is big for me, Id love the pixel but I can't afford it, at the moment. Its okay, my nexus 6 is coming on its one year anniversary and still going strong. So I am not suffering lol but I will get the pixel as soon as I can swing the money

I definitely would have, had I not already bought the Moto Z Force like 3 or 4 weeks before the unveiling of the Pixel... I knew I should have waited. Although the Moto Z is a great device too.

I HAVE to get this phone! I had the Samsung Galaxy Nexus in '12 whilst on VZ Dub, so seeing that this is exclusive to them again? And I was skeptical at first because of the downsides I experienced with the SGN, but I stopped by the local store to play with one...and my garsh. The processor feels fast and the camera is amazing. Finally...it's a shame it took HTC to manufacture a phone for Google to get it right, but I'm an HTC fanboy sooooooo...when it goes on sale (it's a Google phone, people, it's gonna happen), I'm on board!

I've been to the Google store twice now and just can't pull the trigger. At almost $900 I can't see the value over my HTC 10.

I bought an HTC 10 for $550 and it has everything I require in a phone (the Pixel does not, but I was willing to compromise).
