Happy or not?

Absolutely. I've had many smartphones on various platforms and this one by far is my fav. Granted it's not the newest model on the block, but it definately holds it's own. Doesn't feel as cheaply made as others that I've had. Battery life is good, overall the OS gets the job done, and the Android Market is there waiting when I get bored.

I could not be happier. I was never one to sit back and complain about my original Storm, but I must say that after switching to the Droid, and Android in general, I don't think I will ever look back. This device just FLIES for me, and I don't think I have one major thing to complain about. My hats off to Google, Motorola and Verizon!

Ditto.

i bought my DROiD 6 days after launch and ive been in love with it ever since. its prolly the single greatest phone ive ever had in my life. i rooted in december and just flashed Froyo to it using JRummy's Kangerade. most of my friends have been thru 2 phones since ive had mine, i laugh at them. I tip my hat to Motorola, Verizon, and Google.

I was till I got an Incredible then an X. I already sold my Droid. And will be selling my Incredible. I love my X and can definitely say I'm sticking with it.

I got a MileStone (with Eclair 2.1)
& I'm happy with it & i also got an 1st iPod touch (with iPhone 3.1 OS)
So like Jay Z's album
I got "Best of both worlds"

Still Very Happy

I have a X, Dinc, and Captivate user around me everyday. I am still very happy with the original Droid. I will upgrade when eligible, but it is not a necessity. I will be excited to see 2.2 and it JIT compiler.

I've been very happy with my Droid. I purchased a new Droid X on release date and to be honest I love the phone, but I'm starting to wonder if it's worth the money and new contract considering it's not that much of an upgrade from my Droid. Granted the big screen is nice and battery life is a little better, but after the shiny and new has worn off I'm considering just reactivating my Droid and returning the X. With Froyo coming in just a few days I might be better off saving the money and waiting for the next big thing later this year or next.
