Are you planning to get the Pixel 7?

That's great that the pre-ordering process was smooth! I really don't know which device to get. I'm still afraid the 7 Pro will just be too big for me. Keep us posted as to when you get updates and such!

I've been using the 6 pro for the last year and seriously debated stepping down, especially since it would in effect have been more than free after trade-in and credit. I opted for the 7 Pro anyway for two primary reasons: first, I absolutely love the telephoto, and this year's will be even better, along with the macro mode which isn't offered on the regular 7; second, I'm a little concerned about the battery life on the 7 as while the pro model handily meets all but my very toughest of days, the smaller battery would likely induce anxiety a bit more often.

The Pro models are definitely pushing the boundaries for me, but are manageable (and the 7 Pro is slightly smaller than its predecessor)

Ordered the 7 Pro 128GB and Google gave me $270 for my 3XL 64GB, not a bad deal for an old phone.

I'd have to pay my S22+ off and then trade it in. Or try and sell it. I've had it for less than a year and don't think I will. I'm pretty happy with it. Maybe I'll jump on the Pixel 8 next year.

After having such a **** experience with my 6 Pro's , it has given me pause .

Pause , as in I thought about it for 3 minutes longer than my usual knee jerk phone buying.

Cant pass comment on a device unless I give it a try.

Will order a 256 7 pro in white . Hopefully last longer than my 6's . At least the S23U is out in a few months.

Ordered my Hazel Pro via TMobile Jump. Only 128GB offered, which is plenty for me, but happily they've got all three colors this year. Last year I really wanted the Sunshine Yellow but you could only get it directly from Google.

The process was really smooth, unlike last year. Now we'll see if it actually ships on the 13th like it says. That part of last year was a fiasco and my phone shipped a month late.

Because it's Jump its not a trade in, but I don't continue to pay for my 6Pro once I return it, so it's a wash for me monetarily speaking.

Trading in my P6P and bought the obsidian, watch, screen protector and Google case. Christmas in October!

They send a box and return mail slip. They want only the phone and factory reset.

As far as the trading kit goes, you will need to master reset your phone. Simply put it in the box. Send it back to them and when they receive and inspect it, you'll receive a credit on your whatever credit card you used.

I picked up a Pixel 7 Pro, Google is going to give me $550 on my trade-in and a $200 credit. Now you can't beat that deal.

I’m leaning towards the 7. It is heavier than my iPhone 13 which I’ve always thought a bit on the heavy side but the pro besides being $300 more is quite heavy IMO anyway. In any case they will give me $300 for my 4a so net price of $300 basically for the regular pixel 7.
I’ve always thought my iPhone 13 had a good sized screen and was an easy enough pocket carry. The pixel 7 has a good bit bigger screen so sounding good for what I am looking for. I never could notice the 120 refresh rate anyway.

I'll probably wait to see how the 7pro goes for everyone.. let you all be the guinea pig for me

If I have Verizon am I able to order direct from Google and get the trade in money back in instant credit once they get my old phone back or is it more of the lame 36 months of bill credits from Verizon?

Ordered the the 7 Pro Hazel...I'll be honest I ordered it and then watched youtube about it..lol.

Unlocked version , trading in my P 6 Pro (Which I love) , Got the $200 credit from Google Store.

Amazon has a deal as well. No trade in worth recommending, but they are offering 200 Amazon credit with a phone purchase.

I wouldve went this route, but the trade in value is not good through Amazon

For the first time ever, I have absolute no interest in Google's offerings 🫤 Wasn't thrilled with my Pixel 6 Pro experience so I've decided it's time Google and I take a break LOL
