Dumping my Tmobile G1 to get the Evo...i hear what everyone's saying about the $10 charge. But I think its just a matter of opinion and perspective. Right now im currently paying 39.99 for 1000 minutes with tmobile + 34.99 for the data package you have to get with a G1. So with tax thats roughly around $79 or a little bit less.
If i switch to sprint i can get unlimited mobile to mobile, text, and data. And the best android phone out right now for the same price? and ditch my G1? Sounds like a logical decision to me. And thats not including the 4g and froyo 2.2 when its released.

Ditching at&t, i had a iPhone 3GS Jailbroken, ebay'ed it, and currently using a N95. Time is going by sooo slow!! i want friday here already!!. Also the person saying they want to go to at&t for the iphone over a $10 charge. I used to be a Corporate at&t Sales rep in 2008, i can tell you now, you are going to pay way more with at&t. Sprints plan with the evo @ 79.99 gets you Unlimited calls to mobiles, 450 "landline" minutes, Unlimited internet, Unlimited Texting, Sprint Navigation (Telenav), and Sprint TV. Now the equiv with at&t is gonna cost you $89.99 + 9.99 for Telenav, and another 9.99 for mobiTV (kinda the same as SprintTV) so rack that up and your up to $109.99. Not to mention the iPhone has a very closed economy, you only get what apple wants you to have, oh and tethering lol No Mobile Hotspot on that. at&t's 3G coverage is a joke compaired to Sprints and its badly bogged down and slow. Also Sprints 4G (wimax) is extremely easy to deploy, i would not be surprised if you see 4G in your area within a year's time. Just my 2 cents, also at&t's ETF is up to $325 if you cancel service in contract with a Smartphone (including iPhone).
