Is the speaker better on the Razr? My wifes Droid 4 has a superior speaker. Not that that is a game changer, just curious again.

Pretty much. I don't make many calls on speaker, but I do so whenever I'm alone with my kid, the Mrs. does the same.
Based on those times, we noticed that the Rezound seemed to pick up background noise moreso than the Razr. We could definitely hear the baby in the background louder on the Rez. As far as volume goes, the Razr seems more amplified, regardless of what volume you set for the call yourself, which is kinda like a throwback to the OG Droid. I loved the speaker on that phone.
As far as clarity, they both sound pretty clear. Again, the Rez picks up some background noise a little more, but there's no major issues. Based on the same usage "tests", I feel like the Razr can pick up my voice on speaker phone from a further distance than the Rezound does.

How about with headphones? Do you get any background noise or electrical interference that hits the Rez. occasionally?

I haven't tried this. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever tried calling with headphones on. If you're considering this phone and it could be a deal breaker for you, I'll give it a shot tonight when I get home.

I don't see how it could possibly be worse in the heat dept. I've never seen a phone hit 127 .6 until my Rez, no even close. All in a span of 20mins. streaming hd content. They needed to put a friggin radiator in the Rez.

I have seen higher temps on my rezound and thunderbolt.
