AT&T HOX Update!!

Got a problem, checked for and updated my One X but now the screen won't come on, the 3 buttons light up and the LED is showing that it's charging but no screen. Already pressed and held power button which restarted the phone but with the same results.

Any suggestions? Never had this happen on my other device.

same thing for me too

Finally got my update to install.

Has any check out task manager. My seems to have increases to almost 800mb. It use to be only 600mb..

I have 2 One X's, mine updated fine, my wife's on the other hand did not. just a black screen. I can go into bootloader screen and factory reset, but that doesn't do a thing. Just got off the phone with AT&T and they are priority shipping a new phone, 45 minutes and a lot of haggling later.

One more thing I noticed in this update : "Recent apps button" is configurable with 3 options:

1. Always open recent apps
2. Press for menu, press and hold for recent apps
3. Press for recent apps, press and hold for menu

Yeah!!! This solves one of the biggest complaint regarding this phone for me.

Thanks,
Osho

Doesn't work for me :(

No update for me yet. just keeps saying software up to date. I have tried to move the date up but no dice.

Alright I updated and it all runs great. Not having that ugly black bar is awesome. Also now when scrolling through the home screens it does like a fade animation on top of the old animation on 4.03

Hold volume down and power at the same time until it goes to the bootloader screen. If it takes a screen shot ignore it. Just keep holding it down.

My two cents. Got the update. Went through smoothly, nothing was erased. And just was finished in a matter of ten minutes. As soon as as I i as updated I re mapped my recent apps key to be "press for menu and long press for recent apps". Works great and finally glad the menu bar is gone :)
Also it seems I have a bit more RAM available. It used to hover around the 100-80 mb mark now it's around 200mb.
Device in general feels as smooth as before, don't see any change though.

It's weird, the HTC screen comes on, then the AT&T chime, but then the screen goes dark and nothing. Very weird.

Same with me... I'll be bringing it to AT&T tomorrow morning hopefully they'll give me a new one. As far as I'm concerned the phone is bricked for the update.
