AT&T OTA rolled out?

only issue I had was I have 2 Step Verification on and needed to get the code when restoring , luckily I had my old phone with Google Voice # and got the code
I've been worrying about the 2-step verification as well. I don't have my old phone anymore. How do I deal with the 2-step after the factory reset? Is there a backup method to get a code?

Ha! F**k you, AT&T! I don't understand why the HELL they have to make everything so difficult! I did the trick, with the Sim card removal and a factory reset and lo and behold, there was the 5.1 update. I don't have a computer, so side loading it wasn't an option. God as my witness, this is the LAST phone I purchase through AT&T.

Good question, if I had remembered this I wold have turned it off in my Google account on my chromebook ....that should work.....then turn it back on..search google 2 step ..I have done this before in the past when setting up a new phone without an old phone around

Yeah, I printed out those codes but can never find them when needed!!!! , happy updating

I would do this take out sim and reset method...but its just a big hassle to get all my 70+ apps back and have to log into each of them again to set them up. Maybe if its not here by the weekend i will think about this.

All in all with erasing, restoring and having the apps stuck on an "installing" loop after 5.1 this took hours , even then a few reboots were needed to get things working. Def need some time .

So I did the PhoneArena suggestion and it worked but now I'm having issues getting my Yahoo email working through gmail like it used to.

I'll keep playing with it. I also couldn't find the "mute" option. Or at least the none til next alarm option that I read was in this update.
