AT&T Preorder?

So you were told 3PM EST? That's right now and it's still not up.
I called the ATT store, they said they're not doing HTC One preorders and they have no idea when/if they will. I called two different stores.
They did, however, say they were doing S4 preorders ;)

Looks like they just updated their site and added the new HTC Facebook home phone for pre-order

I sat on hold with premeire for 40 minutes.. they told me it would be up on the premeire store by 3pm EST. They couldn't do a preorder for me.

Exactly what I was told.... They referred to it as a known issue.

Premiere site is a piece of garbage. I was told it would be up at 3pm, and its now 3:20pm.

I also hate that when I call regular ATT I get people that don't BS with me. They tell it to me straight. They're right out of the US. When I call premier all I get is "oh... thank you for that" and "thank you for your concern" and "sorry for the inconvenience". Nothing against people from India, but they just talk in circles and circles and circles and circles and circles

people on xda are being told to wait until after 5pm to try to order.

I don't believe it one bit. Its the oldest trick in the book. I have a friend who worked in customer service for AT&T Wireless outsource program and thats what they all say so that the customer will leave them alone and call back later.

I think some of you guys need to clear your browser cache and cookies or switch to another browser to order. I started with firefox but had a pay my bill and when I wanted to order it only gave me the full unsubsidized price. So I switched over to Chrome and went to the same site att.com/htcone and was able to order easy as pie.

Just got off the phone with Premier Support.
The phone was supposed to be available on the premier site at 3 PM eastern, however they were having issues and it should be up at 5.
They also warned me against canceling my premier membership stating that it could take up to 2 billing cycles to flush out entirely.
Premier support number is 866-499-8008.

Can someone order full price with new account and cancel service and keep the phone? What's att gonna do?

Uh that would make no sense.. since its a unlock developer edition that you can buy and its 64gb for 650

BUT.. if you want.. you can always get the phone full price from ATT and use their pre-paid service and never refill after that

Three people on XDA said they preordered the phone in the store. They, too, were premier customers so they could not order online.
I called my two corporate stores and they said that they weren't doing preorders for the HTC one. I think I just got an... ill informed... ATT guy. I find all of the ATT guys are ill informed about the newest phones. Take a chance. Call your store. See if they can do it for you (of course you'll have to go in if the option is available).

Reports are saying premier store will be updated with the One at 4pm CST. The guy I talked to at the premier store (phone support) said it wouldn't be until the 19th though. I don't know... we'll have to see! I want a black one anyway. I'm not going with white.

Yeah that's what I'm asking. The Dev version is not available for order. I guess it should be ready by the 19th but who knows for sure. But att only let's current customers and new customers preorder. So someone who just wants the phone cannot order. So my question was has anyone tried to just buy the phone and act like they are starting a new account and then cancel the process but keep the phone once you got it.

holy smokes, just called an att company store and asked about the HTC One. Rep asked "you mean the HTC First, the facebook phone?" I said "no..... the new HTC One, the new flagship of HTC". Rep: "oh you mean the HTC X?". At which point I politely said "thanks, I guess you answered my question" and hung up.

Jessica B.: I apologize about the inconvenience. It does appear that there is an issue with the web site and the pre-ordering of this device. We are being advised that everything should be up and working properly in the next 2 hours.
