Got a Samsung Galaxy S5 . It worked great with kit Kat 4.4
When I did the upgrade to Lollipop and got a new sims card and gave the phone to the wife.
When a incoming call comes in and you answer the phone, 9 out of 10 times it hangs up as soon as you answer the phone.
My Wife is at wits end .
CAn't find anybody that knows what to do.

Anybody else had this problem ?

My friend has this exact issue!!!!! He swaps 2 sims a stuff like this happens. He just installed CyanogenMod 11. You could go back to KitKat using some tools made by Samsung.

Thanks but I don't want to go back to kit kat.
There has to be a solution to why I take my sims card out . And buy a Sims card for the wife and it does this.
And the only thing that changed was updating to Lollipop over Wi Fi before getting a new sims card for my wife and then putting it in.

Nope I need to take it to Best Buy and get the Samsung man to do it. He said he will save everything to the 64Gb Sd card then do it.
I got to watch what I do. My OL is screaming cause the phone has given her such a hard time. She is ready to throw it away.
Its her 1st Samsung product.

lolly pop work very well on my att Galaxy 5 I'm very happy. went for the 5 over the 6 due to batteries replacement and storage expansion options and its a free upgrade till may 4th with 2 year contract

I couldn't keep my Same plan to go with a upgrade if I did the 199.00 Plan.
When I went to the S6 I had the S5, it was on Kit kat 4.44. I couldn't get it to upgrade till after I got the S6.
When I did the upgrade it didn't have a sims card in it. I did the lollipop over the Wi Fi internet.
Then talked the OL to leave her Iphone 5S and come to the Samsung S5.
She has screamed because she answers the phone and it hangs up on her.
And she don't know how to operate it. Even though she has been to 2 Samsung Classes.
She is totally stressed out, and I'm on the receiving end.
Hope I can teach her a little bit before she leaves and goes back to the Iphone.
Even her Iphone 5S has had its share of problems.

When she has a problem is she is on the S5 I can help her too.

Thanks for all the help
Had the sims card replaced. Didn't help.
The samsung man had to back up all the files on the S5 abd do a factory reset.
Now its all back new.,

I've had this problem with both my old Moto G (1st gen?) and current Moto G (3rd gen). In fact, part of motivation to upgrade was to solve this problem. It is very, very annoying. First and foremost a smartphone should be a PHONE !
