Anyone having battery drain issues again after this newest update?? Literally 4 days before this update my battery life was amazing, I was going 2 days on a charge with 5 hours of SOT.... right before I did the update I had went 2 days with 6 and half hours of SOT.... did the update and I'm at 1hr 53min with 50% left... last update I did, I had to do a full factory reset to get the battery life back!!! I really dont wanna do it again

Nope, mine seems to be the same. Maybe clear your cache partition and see if that helps.

Yep. That's twice now with this phone that an update has wrecked my already not great battery life. Pissed.

I cleared my cache last night before charging it overnight. It was off charge at 7:15ish this morning its now noon, I'm at 80% with 53 minutes of screen on time. I'm gonna give it a week to settle and see what happens, if it doesn't get back to where it was then factory reset time again... yay for cloud storage lol

Mine seems to be alright but I did a cache clear after the update. Last month battery life went down the tube after the update but came back after cache clear and restart. Right now I'm at 70% with 2 hours and 5 minutes of SOT which seems about right to me. Best SOT I got was 8 hours @ 1% remaining battery, which was very impressive.

Well now I'm super paranoid to do this update I just got today lol
You'll likely be fine. To be honest, I think my battery has been bad from launch. I likely got a bad battery and it's compounded with these updates. Updates never kill my battery life on other phones.

Ok so it's been three days and it's been constantly worse than it was before the update. Google play services seem high compared to what it was before the update. Besides doing the system cache clear what else can I try before I factory reset again.... last update I had to do a factory reset and then the battery life came back.

Yeah mine started to download but I got out of wifi connection. I don't why we're getting May so early. Not that I'm complaining. Just pretty odd. Maybe there was a vulnerability that they found that needed to be patched pretty quick.
I'm not sure either but I knew we would get it once the other carriers did a couple days ago. I've noticed a pattern... AT&T updates have been coming out on Tuesday's.

I'm still on the February security patch level. I just checked for updates and still no updates. WTF!?!?
