Just got a "Your order will be ready for pickup tomorrow 10/4" from Best Buy. So I'm looking good there. Then again I did pre-order in store and not online. Wish they would've been more consistent and had better communication and knowledge overall in this situation but they came through in the end. Unfortunate I had to order a cheapo case off of Amazon just so it would get here in time to protect the phone. Spigen curiously isn't shipping out until next week for most pre-orders on their cases. Screen protector is waiting at home, though. At this point I'm hoping for good trade in value on my iPhone like they said they'd give me and maybe the $50 gift card deal on Galaxy devices in combination with $15 of rewards I have. SO EXCITED!

Do you have a link for this? I'm at work. I read from another forum that they checked in store and they would honor it. I didn't think it made much sense to knock that much off the price this early but...

Either my local Best Buy has a lot of stock or they didn't have a lot of pre-orders because I walked in on 10/1 to pre-order and got my pickup notification this morning.

They wouldn't be knocking off any money from the device. You would receive a gift card at the end of the transaction to use on a purchase after you got the phone.

Just called BB support and they said for those who ordered online the phones will ship on 10/4(soonest you can get it with expedited shipping is 10/7) and those that pre-ordered in store are not even guaranteed a phone, so there is no point of cancelling my pre-order online. They went on to tell me that pre-ordering phones always ship on release date where as DVD's, blu-rays, etc ship before to meet the release date; yet there is no clause stating this on their site.

I pre ordered on 9/23 and I haven't seen an email yet saying that my pre order will availbale tomorrow. Well to me it doesn't matter if i get a email or not I will be at the store 15min before 10 to get the phone.

Lucky you, even though I received an email stating my pre-order would be available to pick up tomorrow (I'm on Sprint though), I have classes until 1:50. If I didn't have my damn 10am class I would be doing the same as you, lol.

In my area you can't get a white note 3 at best buy because they didn't get any. Only Black. Whats the deal with that!!!

Screw best buy, They did not even call me to let me know I wasn't getting one today or not... Walked into the ATT corp store by my job and bought the first white one this morning.

I ended up canceling my online order and just going into the store and buying the phones. Not pre-ordering again through best buy.

Got a call from Best Buy today after receiving the email about it being ready for pickup the other day. They schedule an appointment for me and were waiting for me when I arrived. Very pro about it. Absolutely love this device... phenomenal!

Again, I pre-ordered in store on 9/14. If you pre-ordered a week ago you shouldn't expect mountains to move for you to receive your phone. I've been there before and "got screwed" as well.

I went to buy the phone at the retail price with out a contract and they would not sell me the phone. I guess I'll have to get the phone off ebay.
